**Maintenance Technician - 41/hr!** **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on 24v to 480v systems. + Conduct mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repairs. + Read and interpret blueprints to repair and rebuild production machinery, including various components such as motors, gearboxes, and pumps. + Repair and replace spindles, shafts, and ball screws. + Hook up Siemens PLCs to troubleshoot system faults. + Document all maintenance-related activities. **Essential Skills** + At least 6 years of industrial maintenance experience or a Journeyman card. + 6+ years experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics and pneumatics. + 6+ years experience with 480v industrial machinery and equipment. + 6+ years experience in tearing down, repairing, and building industrial machinery. + 6+ years of experience in reading and interpreting blueprints. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience troubleshooting and repairing robotics is a plus. + CNC maintenance experience is a plus. + Maintenance experience in the automotive industry is a plus. + Experience programming Siemens PLCs is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Become an IUE Union member from day one, benefiting from applicable pay increases per the union contract. We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician with a focus on 80% Mechanical and 20% Electrical work to join our team. This position operates on the 1st shift from 7 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, located in Salem, OH. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and determine appropriate actions for the repair of facility equipment across 8 buildings. + Perform preventive maintenance on a daily basis. + Inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust, and maintain all mechanical equipment used in the fabrication process. + Disassemble and reassemble equipment as required for repair. + Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and annual equipment inspections and repairs. + Perform mechanic duties, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic tasks. + Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs. + Repair and lubricate machines and equipment, primarily CNC, welding, and mobile equipment such as cranes and forklifts. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience. + Strong mechanical maintenance skills. + Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics. + Experience performing preventive maintenance and machine maintenance in an industrial environment. + Facilities maintenance experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Electrical maintenance experience is a plus. + CNC repair experience is beneficial. + Welding skills are advantageous. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned company with a clean, safe, and established work environment.
