Primary Responsibilities
Follows the posted work schedule and arrives on time and in appropriate work attire.
Responsible for the proper washing of China, flatware, glassware and other kitchen equipment including machine rinse pressure and water temperature
Responsible for maintaining the kitchen and other assigned area in a sanitary manner
Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with coworkers and residents
Must be familiar with food handling procedures and regulations
Must know how to operate kitchen appliances such as the dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, coffee maker and ice machine

Responsible for maintaining the kitchen and dining areas in a clean and orderly condition. Washes, cleans, sanitizes and stores all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment used to operate the kitchen and dining room areas. Cleans floors, equipment and other areas as assigned.

3. Responsible to maintain weekly cleaning schedule.
4. Responsible to dispose of trash, boxes, cans and bottles in their proper receptacles.
5. Responsible to sweep and mop kitchen floor, walk-in refrigerators and tile area in dining room.
6. Responsible to wash floor mats.
7. Responsible to maintain the kitchen and dining room area with a high level of sanitation to minimize food bourne illness and cross contamination of food.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Wash dishes and pots by hand and/or utilizing dishwashing machine.
Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors.

Transfer supplies and equipment to storage and work areas.
