Qualifications/Requirements:

MA Qualifications:
Graduated from an accredited Medical Assisting program or has worked as a Medical Assistant in a clinic setting for at least 3-5 years.

200 Medical-Surgical is a 30-bed unit that cares for patients admitted from the Emergency Department, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, Critical Care Units, and physician offices. The team serves a broad age range, from young adults to patients over 100 - offering diverse and valuable clinical experiences.
The unit specializes in medical, surgical, and gynecologic/oncology care. Common procedures include hysterectomies, mastectomies, bowel resections, and various oncology surgeries. Chemotherapy is occasionally administered, and patients mayrequiretelemetry monitoring or oxygen support.
