Description Reporting directly to the Manager - Strategic Sourcing, the Procurement-Strategic Sourcing Analyst works collaboratively with Strategic Sourcing Manager, Category Analysts and Procurement team, Medical Directors, Hospital Directors, Clinical Managers, Support Services and Leadership to strategically provide support to the Category Manager Team, Operations, and vendor partners in everyday functions of their assigned categories. This role is responsible for the overall execution of the strategy initiatives that support the Categories they support and also conduct analysis of category performance, industry trends & insights, while executing promotional planning, and day-to-day vendor management. Location: This role will be onsite at our Worthington, OH location 4 days and work from home 1 day a week. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Understand and analyze of all aspects associated with the category, planning, and process.
Generate, analyze, and draw conclusions on large amounts of data to support efficient management of the category and drive critical business decisions
Manage day-to-day vendor contact for all issues related to SKU set up, pricing, costs, product logistics, in-stocks etc.
Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing systems and analytical tools.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced data analytics and intelligence gathering to identify emerging fraud trends, organized schemes, and high-risk providers or claims. Conduct data mining and exploratory analytics to identify emerging fraud schemes, suspicious billing patterns, and provider/vendor anomalies.
Provide actionable intelligence, lead packages, and data visualization to SIU investigators in support of fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) investigations.
Evaluate large datasets, including claims, medical records, provider enrollments, and utilization to uncover outlier behavior and systemic vulnerabilities.
Maintain SIU case documentation and track lead disposition to support audits and ensure regulatory readiness.
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and risk detection models to identify and monitor healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse trends.
Prepare concise intelligence reports, presentations, and briefings for SIU leadership, Legal, Compliance, and operational teams.
Cross-functional collaboration with IEHP's Business Units to validate lead data and support program improvement.
Perform any other duties as required to ensure Health Plan operations and department business needs are successful.
Qualifications
Education & Requirements
Required: Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Data Science, Healthcare Administration, Statistics, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field from an accredited institution required.
Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or similar certification related to healthcare fraud, coding, and billing is preferred.
Advanced SAS Programmer certification preferred.
Required: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare data analytics, FWA detection, or managed care compliance required. Experience with SQL and Power BI required.
Preferred: Experience preferably in managed care. Strong preference for experience in fraud investigations, payment integrity, or compliance.
Prior experience in a health plan, government program, or investigatory agency SIU preferred.
Experience with SAS, Tableau, or other data visualization tools preferred.
Key Qualifications
Knowledge of managed care industry operations, practices, and standards and compliance program practices and elements preferred.
Strong knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding, billing rules, and healthcare reimbursement models.
Familiarity with claim data structure.
Advanced Excel and Power Query skills.
Experience with Healthcare Fraud Shield (HCFS) or similar case management platforms is highly desirable.

The PFS Analyst Supervisor plans employee activities and makes sure that work is done accurately and timely. Overall, the Supervisor is responsible for the successful realization of billed revenue becoming cash receipts.
**Responsibilities:**
- Serves on the Revenue Cycle Value Stream Steering Committee. Participates in Lean activities to help identify issues and to engage in problem solving. Encourages team members to participate in Lean. Works effectively with other PFS Supervisors and Department Leadership to ensure overall efficiency throughout the department.
- Demonstrates effective communications and listening skills to ensure that all responsible functions and their processes are not delayed or not communicated. Demonstrates good support and cooperation toward employees, physicians and supervisors.
- Oversees the functions and responsibilities of the PFS departments as assigned to ensure that processes are efficient. Departmental oversight may include: cashiering, refunds, billing, financial counseling, inpatient/outpatient/emergency patient access, patient pre access, switchboard and other functions deemed a function of patient financial services.
- Works closely with Billing, cashiering, refunds, mailroom and the file room resolve any issues or updates that impact the department. Ensures that cash and adjustments are applied to the proper patients accounts. Ensures that payments received on managed care accounts are paid properly Oversees the prompt and accurate billing of all accounts to facilitate cash flow for the hospital's operation. Oversee corrections and follow-up of rejected claims in an effort to resolve those claims.
- Enforces hospital and department policies fairly and evenly to all staff members. Assigns daily activity, prepares work schedules, and completes time cards as required. When it is necessary, assists with relief for other PFS positions. Works with department Director to ensure that staffing levels do not exceed budgeted levels and assists in preparation of the PFS Budget. Interviews and selects new employees. Counsels and disciplines employees according to hospital personnel policies. Completes all evaluations providing documentation of error percentage rates and counsels employees when high deficiencies arise. Ensures that proper documentation is contained in employee Human Resources files for coaching and counseling's and relevant developmental discipline or, for significant accomplishments.
