Lessen is seeking an experienced, solution-oriented Field MaintenanceTechnician with a minimum of 3 years of verifiable, hands-on experience in property management maintenance or a related trade. You will own your work orders, manage budgets, and oversee comprehensive maintenance for properties in our portfolio. We prioritize quality, over quantity, to provide excellent customer service to our clients.

Respond, as directed, promptly and professionally to skilled maintenance and repair requests.
Ensure work is performed in a timely and professional manner
Assist with scheduling, overseeing, and communicating with contractors to obtain bids and checking work for completeness
Purchase maintenance supplies as needed for the property
Perform preventive maintenance and comprehensive repairs in the areas of plumbing, appliances, pool equipment, carpentry, sheetrock, exterior and basic electrical issues.
You Should Have
Ability to travel within your region: this position is based 100% in the field.
3+ years of verifiable, hands-on experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or a related trade.
Demonstrated Proficiency in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and performing comprehensive repairs across all standard trades, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry.
Proven ability to manage and complete independent work orders, budget time/materials, and communicate effectively with contractors/clients.
Current driver's license and automobile insurance.
Must be able to lift, push, pull 50lbs regularly; up to 75lbs occasionally; and 75+lbs with assistance.
Holding a current or previous plumbing license is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

The Role:
This MaintenanceTechnician I performs daily start-up of material handling equipment. Inspects conveyors, sorters, etc. to ensure proper operations; notes, problems; and reports problems for service. Performs basic service on material handling equipment. Makes minor adjustments, lubricates moving parts, repositions photo eyes, and reports any problems. Changes batteries in powered lift equipment. Maintains batteries by cleaning, filling, and recharging. Performs basic plumbing by unclogging drains, repairing leaky fixtures, and installing new service under the supervision of a MaintenanceTechnician. Performs basic carpentry by repairing workstations, furniture, and doors as well as assisting with office renovation projects. Assists MaintenanceTechnicians with electrical troubleshooting, replacing, or repairing mechanical components, and performs preventive maintenance. Assists MaintenanceTechnicians with more complex repairs. Maintains a safe working environment. Cleans maintenance areas and lift equipment, replaces light bulbs throughout the facility.

Position Summary:
This position is hands-on and reports to Maintenance Manager and supervises the 3rd shift maintenance crew, setup crew, and monitors the refrigeration system overnight. Minimum Qualifications
Education: Associate's degree or relevant college certificate in a related field is preferred, along with hands-on experience as a maintenancetechnician in a manufacturing environment.
Experience: Industrial refrigeration experience; 5+ years of experience in refrigeration lead or supervisor role with direct reports preferred.
Proficient in verbal communication, with the ability to listen, understand, and articulate ideas effectively.
Strong written communication skills for clear expression and comprehension of ideas and concepts.
Functional knowledge of CMMS systems.

Competitive base salary ($70,000-80,000 annual annually). Base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Respond, as directed, promptly and professionally to skilled maintenance and repair requests.
Ensure work is performed in a timely and professional manner
Assist with scheduling, overseeing, and communicating with contractors to obtain bids and checking work for completeness
Purchase maintenance supplies as needed for the property
Perform preventive maintenance and comprehensive repairs in the areas of plumbing, appliances, pool equipment, carpentry, sheetrock, exterior and basic electrical issues.
You Should Have:
Ability to travel within your region: this position is based 100% in the field.
3+ years of verifiable, hands-on experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or a related trade.
Demonstrated Proficiency in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and performing comprehensive repairs across all standard trades, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry.
Proven ability to manage and complete independent work orders, budget time/materials, and communicate effectively with contractors/clients.
Current driver's license and automobile insurance.
Must be able to lift, push, pull 50lbs regularly; up to 75lbs occasionally; and 75+lbs with assistance.
Holding a current or previous plumbing license is a plus.
