PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Observe and document changes, unusual events, violations of rules/guidelines, and other notable incidents, related to a resident's behavior occurring during her shift. Be available to residents if they need additional support
Transport residents to and from support meetings and events (i.e. AA/NA, NAMI).
Provide residents access to their controlled medications and document residents' self-administration of medications.
Conduct resident house meetings to discuss internal conflicts, review rules, accept requests from residents and review client-oriented documentation such as schedules, and recovery plans.
Develop and monitor recreational activities as assigned.
De-escalate situations when a resident demonstrates aggressive or harmful behavior.
Provide security by frequently monitoring Serenity Spring buildings, grounds, offices and vehicles. Conduct safety drills for potential physical safety hazards.
Process resident belongings at time of admission and when returning from pass.
Screen and document visitors to Serenity Spring according to confidentiality guidelines.
Participate in all scheduled Serenity Spring employee meetings and trainings.
Perform urinalysis drug screens and alcohol swabs per resident's return from pass or suspicion of use.
Monitor the quality of household chores completed by residents.
Review BHT Log and coordinate services with other Serenity Spring staff at shift change.
Answer telephone, and perform light office duties when assigned.
Respond to incidents at the at the recovery home and ensure appropriate reports are completed.
Responsible to help monitor residents for potential warning signs concerning recurrence of symptoms and refer them for more support.
Responsible to check-in with residents on a daily basis.
Be available to residents if they need additional support.
Responsible to examine the physical property and spend enough time at the home to ensure that all residents are accounted for, residents do not need additional support, and the house is free from substance use.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and the ability to be insured by agency provider.
Understanding of co-occurring AoD and MH disorders and recovery.
High school graduate.
Understanding of RSNWO and HIPAA confidentiality law, policy and guidelines.
Subject to a pre-employment BCI criminal background check and every 5 years thereafter.
Subject to a pre-employment drug screen and random or incident related drug screens throughout employment with RSNWO.

The PCT assists the patient care team with exams, procedures, obtaining patient data and other processes related to direct patient care. The PCT also ensures an appropriate stock of supplies and equipment is available and functioning properly.
In this role, you will perform tasks related to scheduling procedures, coordinating admission as well as discharge and transfer processes. PCTs answer phones, take messages and direct calls. Job Description:
Patient Care Technician facilitates and assists in meeting the needs of the patient. These tasks are to be within the range of responsibilities that the Registered Nurse (RN) can rightfully delegate to an unlicensed patient care provider. The Patient Care Technician (PCT) follows the direction of the Registered Nurse, the Lead/Charge Nurse, the Nursing Director/ Assistant Nursing Director, as well as the House Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High School graduate or GED equivalent.
2. Will be required to attend and successfully complete the UTMC Healthcare Tech training course and maintain CPR/BLS certification thereafter.
Candidates with a current CPR/BLS certification AND at least one of the following are not required to attend and complete the UTMC Health Tech training course:
- Has successfully passed a State Approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) exam or State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) exam and has an active certification on the applicable state registry at the time of application.
- A recent graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Candidates with recent equivalent experience who successfully pass the Skill Assessment will not be required to attend and complete the Healthcare Tech course
3. Ability to write legibly, speak articulately, and follow directions accurately.
4. Ability to plan and organize work and to work under supervision. Willingness to accept responsibility for patients in their care when performing delegated functions of this position and to perform delegated duties in accordance with established methods and procedures.
5. Will be required to work some weekends and holidays.

- Escort the patient to the exam room and determine the patient's chief complaint

- Provide waiting patients/potential patients guidance on registration, wait time, services that may be rendered, and payment methods
