**Overview**
The Distribution Driver Class A is responsible for delivering products to clients; inspect the general condition of the vehicle; prepare, load, unload, operate, and clean the vehicle. Review standing orders, develop sales, process payments, and maintain records.

Standard Beverage is looking for a dependable, experienced, results-driven and customer-focused Line Haul driver for our Lawrence, Kansas distribution center. Our Line Haul drivers enjoy static routes, are home daily, and enjoy 3-day weekends. Current Class A CDL with Doubles and Triple endorsements is required for this job. The Line Haul driver will transfer trailers between our distribution center in Lawrence to our depots in Junction City, Dodge City, Hays, Pittsburg, and Wichita, Kansas, as well as helping spot trailers in the yard. Must have experience pulling doubles/triples to be considered. This is an overnight shift; however, there is no out-of-state travel, and no overnight stays required. Shift time varies based on the run; typical work schedule is from approximately 8PM until 6AM, Monday through Thursday, with Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. Hourly rate: $34.50+ depending on experience.

Safely and efficiently pull double or triple 28′ trailers over an established route.

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle.

Complete all required paperwork daily, including Department of Transportation logbook and driver vehicle inspection report (DVIR).
Report to work in adherence to company uniform standards (e.g., neat, clean, and properly attired).

Plan trip logistics and obtain necessary documents to transport goods.
Ensure cargo is secured properly and compliant with safety requirements.
Report any incidents to the dispatcher.

This is a **Cover Driver** role responsible for filling in when regular Line Haul Drivers are out due to vacation or illness. During coverage, the driver will follow the schedule of the absent driver, typically starting around 12:00 AM, and will focus solely on driving duties.
When not covering, responsibilities include: Yard jockeying trucks and trailers and performing warehouse tasks, including case handling.
**Monday - Thursday schedule, 4 days a week, Guaranteed 40 Hours, Home Daily.**

**Overview**
The Line Haul Driver Class A is responsible for delivering products from the Edwardsville, KS distribution center to one of our depot locations then back to Edwardwardsville. All freight is off loaded and loaded by warehouse staff.
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle.
+ Adhere to the safe and courteous operation of the delivery vehicle at all times.
+ Complete all required paperwork daily, including Department of Transportation logbook and driver vehicle inspection report (DVIR).
+ Report to work in adherence to company uniform standards (e.g., neat, clean, and properly attired).
+ Adhere to all safety regulations, and perform all duties in a safe manner.
+ Plan trip logistics and obtain necessary documents to transport goods.
+ Ensure cargo is secured properly and compliant with safety requirements.
+ Report any incidents to the dispatcher.
+ Follow/adhere to all traffic laws.
+ Maintain vehicle, product, and equipment tidy and in good working order.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 1 year of experience
+ Must be Department of Transportation (DOT) certified
+ Class A Commercial Driver s License required
+ Doubles/Triples Endorsement REQUIRED
+ Must be at least 21 years of age
**Physical Demands**
+ Physical demands include a considerable amount of time walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
+ Additional hours may be required during October, November, and December and other peak periods
+ Capable of working flexible hours which could include overnight, early morning, and/or late evening
+ May require lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56lbs
