POSITION OVERVIEW
The PMO Leader & Technology Strategic Programs is responsible for establishing and leading enterprise-wide global portfolio governance, ensuring that technology initiatives are aligned with strategic business objectives and deliver measurable value. This role oversees the organization's project management standards, facilitates effective prioritization and resource allocation, and drives benefits realization across the organization. By fostering organizational maturity in project delivery and strategic program management, the PMO Leader enables successful execution of complex initiatives that support digital transformation, operational efficiency, and enterprise growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead enterprise portfolio governance, including the intake, prioritization, and funding of all technology initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives (Responsible).
Establish, enforce, and continuously improve project management standards, methodologies, and policies across the organization to ensure consistency and excellence (Responsible).

KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of experience in portfolio, program, or project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior PMO role (Leadership experience).
Proven experience leading enterprise PMOs or governance functions within complex organizations.
Strong knowledge of financial management, benefits realization, and business-IT alignment.
Expertise in both Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies, with relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP).
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging executive leadership.
Demonstrated ability to foster organizational maturity in project management practices.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee a portfolio of technology investments with budgets typically ranging from $50M to $200M.
Ensure the realization of benefits and ROI from strategic programs and projects, aligning investments with business value metrics.
Monitor and report on portfolio performance, including cost control, resource utilization, and benefits realization.

POSITION SUMMARY
Accountable to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) aligns financial, clinical, and operational resources and talent to meet its present and future goals. The CEO will assure the Ministry complies with all regulatory agency rules and regulations and the Clinic's organizational policies, mission, vision, and values, and in alignment with the policies of the Archdiocese of Houston-Galveston.
The CEO cultivates strategic external partnerships to advance integrated services, evidence-based solutions to ensure the health of its patients and the community. • Clearly articulates the vision and mission of SJC and ensure all work supports its mission and goals.
• Leads the development, planning and implementation of the clinic's business plans in accordance with the strategic plan.

Financial and Operational

Board of Directors
• Ensures the SJC Board of Directors, the Archdiocese and the Archbishop, the sole Member of the Corporation, are fully and accurately informed on the conditions of SJC and its services and other important influencing factors.
• Submits a written Annual Report on the programs and financial condition of SJC to the Board at the Annual Meeting.
• Keeps the Board of Directors updated concerning financial, legal, and other important issues, including support for the Board of Directors' Finance & Audit Committee.
• Serves as a non-voting Ex-Officio on the Board, Executive Committee, and standing committees, excluding attendance at Executive Sessions.
• Attends all Board meetings and ensures the Board is oriented and all necessary documentation is retained per SJC's bylaws and compliance with all laws.
• Interprets the needs of SJC and present professional recommendations on all problems and issues considered by the Board.
• Recommends to the Board appropriate policies for its consideration and implement effectively all policies adopted by the Board.
• Recommends to the Board of Directors an annual budget and operating plan each year.
• Plays key role in Board recruitment and engagement activities, ensuring diversity in background and perspectives of potential Board members.

Education
• Bachelor's degree required.
• MBA/MHA/MPH or another post-graduate degree in a related field preferred.

Experience
• Minimum of five years' experience in one or more of the following areas:
o Primary care

• Working with a nonprofit board of directors.
• Experience in delivering health care services in a primary care clinic, managing programs with different licensure, policies, procedures, and staffing requirements that serve diverse customer and client populations - strongly preferred.
• Minimum of five years' experience overseeing an annual budget of at least $2,000,000 preferred.
• Successful track record in fundraising, significant resource growth and donor cultivation experience.

* Consistent maintenance and refinement of service standards

A day in the life of an Area Director
Lead, coach, and develop Operating Partners to deliver excellence in operations, guest experience, and financial performance.
Build a culture of accountability and growth-mentoring leaders to advance from within and preparing future talent pipelines.
Ensure consistent execution of Bolay standards in food quality, hospitality, safety, and sanitation across all restaurants.
Conduct regular restaurant visits and performance reviews, providing actionable feedback and support.
Analyze financial results, identify trends, and implement strategies to drive sales, profitability, and operational efficiency.
Develop local sales-building initiatives and community partnerships with schools, charities, and organizations.
Champion Bolay's purpose, values, and culture-recognizing wins, fostering engagement, and promoting servant leadership.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Culinary, Finance, HR) to align regional goals and company initiatives.
Lead regional planning, contribute to new store openings, and ensure readiness for growth and innovation.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality, business, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of multi-unit leadership experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry.
Proven success in developing leaders, driving operational consistency, and delivering financial results.
Strong analytical and business acumen with proficiency in P&L management.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Passion for guest service, operational excellence, and developing people.
Passion for food and culinary curiosity.
Ability to travel regularly within assigned markets.
