Job Purpose: - The Behavioral Tech III at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing advanced support and care to individuals with behavioral health needs during Shift 3. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety, well-being, and therapeutic progress of clients through direct care, observation, and intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and document client behavior and progress, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
- Implement and support individualized treatment plans as directed by clinical staff.
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques in response to client needs.
- Facilitate group activities and therapeutic sessions to promote client engagement and recovery.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment by adhering to center policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and treatment for clients.
- Assist with daily living activities and personal care for clients as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in behavioral health care.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to support treatment goals and outcomes.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Experience working with individuals with mental health and substance abuse disorders.
- Previous experience in a crisis intervention role is preferred.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and basic computer applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure.

Job Purpose: - The MS Therapist (Unlicensed) at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families under supervision. The role focuses on supporting clients with mental health challenges, promoting their well-being, and assisting them in achieving their personal goals through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to the needs of clients.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress notes in accordance with organizational and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment for clients.
- Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance professional development and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Support clients in crisis situations by implementing appropriate interventions and referrals.
- Engage in community outreach and education to promote mental health awareness and resources.
- Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all client interactions.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Required Experience:
- Experience working with individuals with mental health issues, preferably in a therapeutic setting.
- Internship or practicum experience in a clinical environment during graduate studies.
- Familiarity with therapeutic techniques and approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, or other evidence-based practices.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for clients with various mental health disorders.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in the field of mental health therapy.
- Cultural competence and sensitivity to work with diverse populations.
