MHS is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique and life-changing career, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8-13 students living in the home. Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family-like environment that fosters students' academic, emotional, and social development so they can reach their full potential.
Responsibilities include:
Providing daily supervision and mentorship
Managing household routines and student schedules
Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
Driving students to activities, as well as planning and actively engaging in developmental and recreational activities with students
Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
Upon hire, Flex Houseparents initially support various student homes and follow a working schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. On weekdays, houseparents have unscheduled time while students are in school. Flex Houseparents eventually transition into a Placed Houseparent role, where they live and work with the same group of students in their own student home.

**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**
The Penn State Hershey Medical Center Children's Hospital Advanced Practice Fellowship will be a 12 month post graduate neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship that will educate highly qualified certified physician assistants and nurse practitioners to become competent, proficient, and compassionate neonatal providers. Through didactics and direct patient care, the fellow will obtain superior clinical skills allowing them to thrive in a fast paced critical care setting. **The neonatal fellowship curriculum will consist of both clinical and didactic education. The clinical rotations will include time spent in the NICU, newborn nursery, with bedside NICU nurses, NICU high risk developmental clinic, pediatric radiology, maternal fetal medicine, pediatric cardiology, pediatric cardiothoracic surgery, pediatric surgery, and pediatric pulmonology. During NICU rotations, the fellow will also participate in air and ground transports with Life Lion.
The Penn State Hershey Medical Center is a tertiary care teaching hospital designated as a level IV neonatal intensive care unit providing the highest care to patients from surrounding areas. The Penn State Hershey Medical Center Advanced Practice Fellowship is a post graduate emergency medicine fellowship that will educate highly qualified graduate nurse practitioners and physician assistants to become skilled, compassionate and efficient emergency medicine providers. Fellows will acquire enhanced clinical proficiencies through didactics and patient care which cultivate enhanced technique and expertise in a fast-paced medical setting. The Emergency Medicine Fellowship curriculum will consist of both clinical and didactic education. The didactic sessions will include 4-6 hour residency conferences. The clinical rotations with include varying time spent in Radiology, Anesthesia, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, MICU, Trauma/SICU, OB/GYN, and in the pre-hospital setting on Life Lion ground. An elective will be offered to allow the fellow a choice in their 9th rotation. Suggestions for this rotation include additional time in the pre-hospital setting, EMS management, Family Community Medicine, or Event Medicine. PSU Hershey is unique in its ability to offer a rotation in Event Medicine, which will include medical services at Penn State football games, the Reading Airshow, and Civil War re-enactments at Gettysburg.

Complete duties at assigned workstations, as determined by management, during scheduled shifts including:
Front of House: Check In, Sales Floor, POS (Kiosk, In-Store, Pre-Order), Curbside, Roll Thru
Back of House: Fulfillment, Receiving, Replenishment, Inventory Counts
Maintenance: Uphold cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards throughout the dispensary
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
At least one year of customer service experience; preference for candidates with specialty, customer-facing retail experience
Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (i.e., ability to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends) to meet business needs
Must have reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance
Must be 21 years or older
Must pass all required background checks including state-specific cannabis employment requirements
Possess valid driver's license or state ID
Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
Prior cannabis experience not required
Additional Requirements
Must have the ability to perform the following tasks for prolonged periods of time (i.e., up to the duration of a scheduled shift or workday)
Move about the dispensary to fulfill work assignments and assist patients and/or customers in various locations of the dispensary
Remain in a stationary position, if required, to meet the needs of the business
Converse and communicate with individuals and groups of people directly
Operate point of sale system, computer, and other office productivity machinery to use online programming and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and email
Prepare patient and/customer orders by moving and placing products
Inspect and receive detailed information, such as patients' and/or customers' dates of birth, in-store or online orders, or inquiries
Move inventory and materials weighing up to 30 pounds independently
Position self to move inventory and materials in storage areas
Skills
Consistent demonstration of excellent customer service skills
Desire to continuously learn (more) about cannabis, cannabinoids, and the endocannabinoid system, GTI products, and cannabis therapies - previous knowledge preferred
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees
Ability to listen well and effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with various audiences
Previous experience with POS systems
Understanding of applicable cannabis laws and regulations, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, and standard operating procedures
Employee must be able to follow instructions as directed and incorporate constructive criticism from managers
Operate with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information and complying with HIPAA requirements.
