Reports concerns of knowledge and/or skill deficits to the Supervisor. * With additional education and in accordance with PPG-00819, Assignment of Medication and Treatment Tasks to Home Care Attendants, may be assigned additional tasks as required. * Demonstrates ability to effectively utilize electronic programs. * Performs all communication functions (mail, email, photocopying, faxing, telephone) as required in accordance with Personal Health Information Act (PHIA) and Privacy Act. * Assists with meal preparation in accordance with the "Canada Food Guide" or the client specific diet. * Organizes work according to client's needs and the assigned service request. * Reports any changes in the client status or home environment to the Supervisor and/or Case Coordinator as per PPG-00738, Observation Reporting- Home Care Program and PPG-02154, Observation Reporting- Supportive Housing Program * Reports incidents immediately to the Supervisor or Case Coordinator and/or the client contact and enters in the Incident Reporting System as required. * Participates in staff meetings, case conferences, and in-service programs as required.
