Position Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for originating residential mortgage loans through internal and external referral sources. Responsible for building and maintaining strong internal and external referral relationships, counseling mortgage customers around solutions to their lending needs, providing excellent customer service, and supporting all key channel initiatives and sales activities. ( Cross Sell Initiatives, External Sales Activities, Customer Satisfaction Results, and Loan Quality.) Responsible for meeting or exceeding personal production and strategic activity goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
Builds relationships with internal and external referral sources through key sales strategies and activities to achieve expected performance goals.
Counsels customers on lending options and solutions to meet their needs.
Supports and facilitates key banking partnerships.
Provides excellent service and supports an outstanding customer mortgage experience. Effectively manages loan pipeline to meet key milestones such as delivering initial documentation, closing dates, rate expiration dates, pricing, and compliance related expectations.
Provides feedback to management on process efficiencies, relationship processing performance, and overall customer experience for relationship processing partner. Assists with recruiting and hiring of support team members as needed.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

This role ensures that lending activities are conducted in a safe and sound manner, adhering to regulatory requirements and aligning with the organization's risk appetite and strategic objectives, and will collaborate with various stakeholders, including lending teams, compliance, legal, and senior leadership.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and regularly review loan policies and procedures covering all lending areas (e.g., consumer, commercial, real estate, etc.). Ensure policies are comprehensive, clearly written, and address all relevant risk factors. Maintain an up-to-date policy manual.
Stay abreast of current and evolving lending regulations (e.g., Reg B, Reg Z, HMDA, etc.) and incorporate necessary changes into loan policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Collaborate with the Compliance department on regulatory exams and audits.
Conduct periodic risk assessments of the loan portfolio and identify potential areas of weakness. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks through policy adjustments and process improvements.
Develop and deliver training programs to lending staff on loan policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Communicate policy changes and updates effectively to all relevant stakeholders.
Establish and maintain a loan review process to assess loan quality and adherence to policies. Monitor key loan portfolio metrics and identify trends that may indicate emerging risks. Report findings to senior leadership.
Work closely with lending teams, credit administration, legal, and compliance to ensure alignment on lending practices and risk management strategies. Participate in loan committees and other relevant meetings.
Research and stay informed about industry best practices in loan policy and risk management. Recommend and implement changes to policies and procedures to incorporate best practices.
Prepare regular reports on loan portfolio performance, policy compliance, and risk trends for senior leadership and the board of directors.
Participate in special projects related to lending, risk management, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications Education
Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: finance, business administration, economics, or a related field. (Required)
Experience
7 or more years banking and/or finance regulatory and risk management experience. (Required)
5 or more years commercial and retail loan experience. (Required)
1 or more years of presentation experience. (Required)
5 or more years Commercial and retail lending experience. (Preferred)

The salary range for this position is $88,500.00 - $147,600.00 annually.

This job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units. This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.

Overview
This is a full-time, commissioned career opportunity that can be hybrid based out of our Downtown Lebanon location in Lebanon, PA.
Solicits first mortgages through contacts with realtors, builders, and developers. Work with customers and prospective customers to assist them in identifying and securing a mortgage loan that is appropriate for their individual financial circumstances and is designed to help them achieve their financial goals, including home ownership.
Responsibilities
Develops and expands referral sources in order to solicit first mortgages. Maintains regular contact with Realtors in their offices and on site at open house events. Meets with builders on job sites to discuss lending options related to clients they have building homes Regularly, seeks opportunities to meet with developers. Participates in building and trade shows. Participates in mixers related to real estate where relationships can continue to build and new ones can be forged.
Collects and analyzes applicant's financial information typically at one of the organizations branch locations to assess the financial circumstances to determine whether the applicant and the property qualify for a particular loan. Interviews applicants and provide required information, including income, assets, investments, debt, credit history, prior bankruptcies, judgments, and liens, as well as characteristics of property and similar information. Identifies customer's needs in conjunction with customer's financial situation and evaluates those needs in relation to available financial products. Recommends the financial products which best meet the customer's specific needs after advising customer about the risks and benefits of the loan alternatives, including the options and advantages involved. Recommends terms and conditions of mortgage loans.
Engages in customer specific persuasive sales activity to encourage potential customer to do business with Company and cross promotes other services and financial products of Company to outside referral sources.
Performs work related to the loans the employee originates. Obtains and analyzes pertinent financial and credit data. Follows current loans to ensure conformity with terms. Follows up with customers and prospective customers via telephone and email communication. Completes paperwork related to the loans originated. Prepares materials needed to support employee's loan activities. Attends company meetings as necessary. Ensures loan originations are in accordance with regulatory compliance. Ensures documentation is completed in accordance with regulatory compliance. Communicates with the customer throughout the process on an ongoing basis to ensure the customer understands the process.
Qualifications
Required Education
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience
1 or more years Recent residential mortgage lending experience to include experience in the local market. Experience in the Fulton Mortgage Company Associate Mortgage Loan Officer Program may be accepted in lieu of 1 year required residential mortgage lending experience.
1 or more years Proven ability to develop referral sources from contacts and relationships outside the organization.
