The Advanced Product Development (APD) Systems Senior Staff Engineer will lead elements of the systems design and development for an Edison Works New Product Introduction (NPI) program as an experienced technical expert in External Hardware Systems Engineering. The Airworthiness & Certification (A&C) Office promotes regulatory compliance and safety at GE Aerospace. As experts in regulatory and compliance processes, the A&C office navigates the regulatory landscape from initial engine certification through the entire engine product life cycle. A GE Aerospace A&C Engineer serves as a focal for a commercial engine product line as a subject matter expert in airworthiness and certification, leads interactions with the agency in the Continued Operational Safety (COS) of our fielded engine fleets, and is a liaison to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other Foreign Civil Aviation Authorities (FCAAs).
