Qualifications
To qualify for a High Voltage Electrician your resume and supporting documentation must support:

Although a specific length of time and experience is not required, you must meet any screen-out element listed, and show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties at the level for which you are applying. The SOE and minimum qualifications for this position is:

The Electrical Helper assists the onsite personnel with installation of HVAC/Electrical equipment, clean up, maintaining equipment and supplies.
Position Responsibilities:
Assist the onsite personnel with unloading material/equipment and placing it near the area on the project where it will be staged and or installed.
Maintain good housekeeping while on site.
At times, work in confined spaces such as attics, basements, roofs, and crawl spaces.
At times, work in areas with heights.
HVAC: Assists installer with placing and securing trunk, return lines, branch, and take off lines.
Electrical: Assist Electricians with installation of conduit (EMT/Rigid/PVC), Romex, mc cable, pulling wire, lighting, and lighting controls.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Preferred: High school diploma or GED.
Preferred: Experience in new construction
Physical Demands:
Must be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting.
Must be able to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.

POSITION DESCRIPTION DETAILS
Under the direct supervision of the Journeyman Electrician Foreman, this position acts as liaison between the company and client, interacting with various contractors in many capacities. Runs the day-to-day operations of the project. Lay out work and supervise other journeymen and apprentices.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Review and understand complexity of project, plans, specifications and estimate from project estimator.
Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications, blueprints and local codes.
Enforce OSHA safety requirements, company safety program and job specific safety standards.
Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.

based at our Utica, OH Service Center. This is a full-time, non-exempt, highly technical position responsible for performing diversified work of erection and repair of distribution and transmission lines of varying classes and voltages, including substations, energized lines, and on structures and equipment involved in the distribution and transmission of electricity.
Nature and Scope of Position (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

Operate distribution and transmission system devices. Locate and repair faulted underground cables, both primary and secondary.

Install, maintenance and retire street lights and related equipment.

**GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Install low voltage copper and fiber optic cabling.
+ Terminate, test copper and fiber cabling systems using certified test equipment.
+ Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.
+ Repair and install network enabled systems such as CCTV, Access Control, AV Control Systems, Central Sound, Video Management Servers, Projectors, Screens, Interactive Displays, etc.
+ Assists in keeping building common and technology spaces in a neat, orderly and safe condition.
+ Accomplishes work in accordance with blueprints and specifications, national and local codes and industry standards such as TIA and BICSI.
+ Updates as-built drawings as necessary, according to department policies.
+ Attend Toolbox safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency in addition to any other recommended topics such as harassment prevention, ethics, etc.
+ Obtain an OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health standards certification.
+ Extended hours or weekend overtime may be available.
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**

* Ensure all materials are ordered and received in a timely manner to ensure compliance.
* Necessary to have and maintain certain personal tools as directed by leadership.
* Will read and comply with all guidelines provided in the Employee Handbook, Safety Manual, or Policy and Procedure Manual, and will require any field employees under their leadership to do the same.
* All other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
* License: Valid state driver's license.
* Certification: None required.
* Education: High School Graduate/GED required.
* Experience: Minimum of 6 years electrical experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
* Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, or snow.
* Job requires employee to have required personal tools with him at all times (waist tool belt as worn weighs approximately 30 lbs.).
* Work from all types of ladders and be able to transport/relocate ladders unassisted.
* Employee's personal weight with tools cannot exceed the rated weight capacity of ladders used.
* Perform work at various heights, up to 90 feet from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, cat walks and other safe work areas.
* Work in restricted areas (switch gear-room, manholes, utility tunnels and crawl spaces).
* Wear personal protective equipment as required.
* Able to work 40 hours per week plus overtime as required, to include night shifts.
Required Physical/Mental Functions:
* Positively identify colors of wire and other items as required.
* Comprehend reading of blueprints drawings, and schematics same.
* Comprehend and practice safe work procedures as outlined in Company Safety Handbook.
* Operate company truck with manual and automatic transmission.
* Read and interpret maps, instructional manuals, work site directions, and written instructions.
* Must hear and see well (either natural or with correction).
* Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead.
* Able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
* Tolerant to prolonged standing and movement on foot.
* Climb ladders (all types).
* Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers
