The Production Machine Operator will perform repetitive workstation or line production operations to mass produce products onto a pallet by performing the following duties: produce product, label, pack, and stack. Receive materials in the production workplace and verify inventory from forklifts using a computerized warehouse management system. Maintain accurate inventory through the use of a warehouse management system for prompt, timely, and accurate deliveries to customers. Attend informational, training, safety, and compliance meetings as scheduled.
* Perform processes to complete bottle-filling assemblies and sub-assembly machines.
* Follow written instructions on the work order to produce various products.
* Gather raw materials needed for producing products, help set up production lines, and produce samples for quality inspection.
* Upon inspection approval, produce the product, label it, pack it, and load grouped orders onto pallets.
* Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
* Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
* Document performance and quality of production line.
* Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required.
* Complete tasks as directed by production schedules with minimum supervision.
* Utilize all material handling equipment safely, and efficiently, perform all required safety checks, and communicate the need for repairs.
* Package bulk material as required by a work order.
* Accept schedule and direction when there are changes in workloads.
* Perform other duties as required.
* Attend monthly departmental and production meetings.
* Minimal travel required for this position, e.g. On occasion travel may be required between locations depending on business needs.
Education: High School diploma or GED
Experience/Training:
* 1 year of related production line experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Must have a good command of the English language and the ability to read, communicate, and understand written instructions
* Troubleshoot mechanical problems on the production line as they occur
* Understanding of KPMs and manufacturing packaging line processes

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
* Work involves routine tasks requiring the safe operation of forge equipment, forge checks at routine intervals, and routine quality checks to ensure finished products meet customer specifications.
* Performs forge start-up and shutdown procedures, which includes knowing the functions of lights and switches on forge control panel and platforms.
* Resets forge electrical, oil system and unscrambler breakers
* Starts up all conveyors using proper start-up procedures.

* Performs basic troubleshooting on finger and arm, stock gauge, kicker pin and springs, worn tooling, transfer lift, and bar conveyor unscrambler.

Work Shift:
8hr-1st Shift (United States of America) The Machine Operator will operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines, grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems. Inspects the quality of bottles during production, packaging and labeling.
Perform audits, weights and quality checks. Machines may vary by site.
Make adjustments to meet product specifications.
Troubleshoot and perform minor repair on blow-mold and support equipment.
Immediately escalates all bottle abnormalities, defects and quality issues when found.
Monitor supply levels of packaging materials and replenish as needed.
Pick up dropped bottles, place into bins and if needed into grinder.
Ensure correct labeling, bottle description and packaging of product in accordance with specific customer requirements.
Move finished goods to designated area.
Prepare & document daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies and other.
Prepare maintenance request forms and document equipment repairs.
Receives instructions on specific job task by Lead Operator or Supervisor. Assistance is furnished on unusual problems and work is reviewed for application of sound professional judgment.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Duties may differentiate by plant based on equipment and plant design.
