We're looking for an experienced Lube Technician to join our growing team and help deliver efficient, professional service to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and lubrication services on a variety of vehicles
Inspect and top off fluids (coolant, transmission, power steering, washer fluid, etc.)
Inspect and replace engine air, cabin air, and fuel filters as needed
Check tire pressure and tread depth when necessary
Conduct basic safety and maintenance inspections and report and necessary repairs
Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and equipment
Adhere to all shop safety and environmental policies and procedures
Communicate clearly and professionally with advisors and technicians when needed
Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of experience as a lube or maintenance technician in a professional repair shop
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and preventative maintenance procedures
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team-oriented environment

Use all safety related PPE such as gloves, safety glasses and tire cages while doing any work.
Raise vehicles using hydraulic jacks
Unbolt wheels from vehicles and remove them, using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools.
Separate tires from wheels, using rubber mallets and metal bars or mechanical tire changers.
Inspect tire casings for defects, such as holes and tears.
Seal punctures in tubeless tires by inserting adhesive material and expanding rubber plugs into punctures, using hand tools.
Reassemble tires onto wheels.
Identify and inflate tires correctly for the size and ply.
Place wheels on balancing machines to determine counterweights required to balance wheels.
Hammer required counterweights onto rims of wheels.
Remount wheels onto vehicles.
Locate punctures in tubeless tires by visual inspection or by immersing inflated tires in water baths and observing air bubbles.
Replace valve stems and remove puncturing objects.
Rotate tires to different positions on vehicles, using hand tools.
Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed.
Inflate inner tubes and immerse them in water to locate leaks.
Clean sides of whitewall tires.
Prepare rims and wheel drums for reassembly by scraping, grinding, or sandblasting.
