Job Duties
As a Service Center Automotive Technician, you'll perform a wide range of services and duties in our Automotive Service Center.

* General Vehicle Maintenance, including:
* Replacing air and cabin filters, light bulbs, and windshield wipers.
* Check and adjust, if necessary, under-hood fluid levels.
* Test, service, and replace vehicle batteries.
* Washing windshields and adjusting tire pressure.
* Perform visual safety checks and look for fluid leaks.
* Maintain industry safety guidelines.
* Timely attendance and accurate time record-keeping.
* Basic shop maintenance and daily cleaning.
* Basic understanding of how to use a computer and register.

We are looking to add another person to our Quick Lane team! The right candidate will enjoy working in a team environment that is fast paced. This position is where we start our entry level Technicians with the career path of moving into the main shop. This position is for someone that wants to learn, grow in their skills, and continue to advance. We have recently moved 3 of our former Quick Lane Technicians into lifts in the Main Service Department shop and 2 of our former Quick Lane Technicians into our new Mobile Service Vans. This would be a full time position 40 hours per week. Hours would be 8am to 5pm Monday-Friday and every 3rd Saturday 7:45am to 3pm.
When you work Saturday you have a day off during the week.
No experience required, we will provide training! :) Each vehicle is done in a team with 1 person in the pit and 1 person topside.
Pay is between $16-$22. Paid every Friday.
The day-to-day duties of this role include oil changes, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections on all types of vehicles.
Responsibilities
Rotate tires
Inspect brake pads and rotors
Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
Drain oil, Install a new oil filter, fill oil, and communicate oil levels to teammates
Maintain efficiency and accuracy in repairing vehicles
Top off fluids
Inspect cabin air filter and engine air filter and replace if applicable.
Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
Communication to other technicians and advisors.
