DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily review of all Injection Molding Machines for oil around machines
Clean-up for the day should be structured to focus on walkways and operator stations first
Oil clean-up in a structured manner as to ensure no residue is left behind
Daily clean up should include prompt notification of problem areas or severe leaks to the Molding Supervisor or Team Lead
Daily clean up should include tagging of leaks for repair and in some cases the repair itself
Perform other functions as requested by Molding Supervisor or Team Lead
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by cleaning up refuse from work functions and promoting a hazard free work environment
Comply & promote all environmental, health & safety programs, laws and regulations, but not limited to; ensuring containers are properly labeled as to contents, inspecting fall protection equipment, inspecting mobile equipment, follow proper disposal procedures for lighting components, batteries and aerosol containers, posting caution and other signs when required to warn employees of unsafe conditions, and wearing PPE as required for safe handling, safe working conditions or safe equipment use
Promptly notify Management of safety or environmental hazards or of faulty or damaged equipment
Qualifications
Manufacturing experience is preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to read and understand product and equipment caution or information labels.
Must be trained and approved in the use of the following: Lockout/Tag out, PPE, and lift truck.
Must not have any physical restriction which would prevent lifting, bending, climbing, walking, the use or handling of powered tools or any other activity normally associated with maintenance functions.
Must be able to reliably perform regular and designated work and be able to work with others. PM work will sometimes require non-standard or extended work hours.
Must have and maintain a good attendance record.
