Position Summary
This is a hybrid position combining Pool Service Technician and Pool Repair Technician duties. The technician will be responsible for an assigned service route and will also complete scheduled repair work on designated days.
This is a customer-facing role. Clear, professional communication with every customerby phone, text, and in personis required.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain an assigned route of residential and commercial pools
Perform routine pool service:
Brushing, vacuuming, netting debris
Tile cleaning
Water testing and chemical balancing
Keep pool equipment areas clean, organized, and professional
Become familiar with each property and its equipment setup
Diagnose and perform scheduled pool equipment repairs, including:
Pumps, filters, heaters, plumbing, valves, salt systems, and automation
Install and replace pool equipment as needed
Communicate clearly with customers before arrival and on site
Explain service performed, repairs, and recommendations in plain language
Complete accurate work orders, notes, and documentation
Follow all safety and professional standards
Qualifications
Pool service or repair experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
Ability to work on both residential and commercial pools
Basic knowledge of pool equipment and water chemistry (or willingness to learn)
Strong attention to detail is required
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage a daily route
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Physical Requirements

POSITION SCOPE
The OTR Field Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative and emergency maintenance of repairs and maintaining company vehicles, material delivery trucks, along with other vehicles and heavy equipment related to industry. Travel is required.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Performs diesel and gasoline engine repairs and maintenance
Diagnoses and performs power train component repairs and maintenance
Troubleshoots and performs hydraulic system repairs and maintenance
Diagnoses and repairs truck air brake systems problems
Repairs suspension and steering systems
Troubleshoots and repairs electrical systems
Performs specialized component repair such as hydraulic and mechanical drives
Make minor repairs including welding and cutting
