Qualifications * Extensive knowledge of exercise equipment and safety practices * Able to accomplish all responsibilities with little supervision * Works as a team member by proactively working to meet resident needs * Exhibits a professional and enthusiastic demeanor when assisting residents, their family and friends * Demonstrates an ability to effectively communicate with all residents * Pays attention to own and others safety when carrying out responsibilities * 2-5 years' experience in the fitness field working with seniors * Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field * ACSM Fitness certification preferred * Must have compassion for and a desire to work with a senior population. * Excellent organization and interpersonal skills. Must have ability to innovate, think strategically and conceptually, manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle difficult situations. * Must be a professional, proactive, collaborative, conscientious, and results-oriented individual.
