The Cable Assembly Operator fabricates cables and harness assemblies. Capable of reading and interpreting manufacturing and production work instructions. Maintains up to date information on production specifications in determining type, size of cables, quantity, and finished dimensions with sequence of building operations. Assembler must be able to follow documentation thoroughly to build Electronic and Mechanical tabletop and standalone systems/assemblies, also able to build sub-assemblies, add subassemblies to other builds and or full builds from the beginning to completion for technical review. Optical alignment/calibration and basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. You will perform these tasks in support of multiple product lines, each with options and upgrades, some of which are implemented by hardware changes while others are changed by manipulating controls in our proprietary software. Final test of assembly and certification, providing written suggestions for improved documentation, and documenting troubleshooting steps as they occur Assemblers will work with Technicians on their projects as a team. Individual Contributor in charge of performing, within his / her area of technological specification, tasks in the manufacturing process in accordance with the manufacturing documentation and the time allocated, using the resources available (including conventional and/or digital machine tools) and inspects his / her own work: Performs Manufacturing operations in accordance with the associated documentation and the time allocated, using the resources available Is responsible for complex work and rework at unit and component level Chooses and implements suitable methods, resources and procedures; Brings support to the operators; Initializes and manages continuous improvement actions in and around his/her area; Performs final inspection duties when requested in accordance with drawings, EOs and any other regulatory requirement pertaining to the product.

We take assembly hardware options and install them in mainframe of copiers, and printers per the customer's request. Then we test the units that we setup for the customer and follow a standardized checklist and QA process to verify the product is functioning properly before units are staged and shipped to the customer. Also, required are basic computer skills, basic mechanical skills, and you will be using tools such as different types screw drivers and nut drivers. Our units go from small printers up to 50 lbs., or so but safety is important so you will always have team members to assist in lifting, and there are times you will be walking and stand, however, it isn't extensive. Being able to lift 50lbs and over is required., however it must be 2-person lifting. Looking for someone who likes to work with their hands, can do repetitive tasks, and work in a team environment.
