Job Responsibilities: * Help assisting in creating online lab videos to enhance student learning online * Assisting in the maintenance and care of the teaching garden, including planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting. * Laboratory classroom set up under the guidance of the instructor * Proofreading curriculum materials and providing feedback for improvement under the guidance of the instructor * Grading student papers and assignments under the guidance of the instructor Requirements/Qualifications: * Must currently be enrolled in classes at LPTC * Must be seeking a degree in Diversified Ag. * Must be in good academic standing * Have a genuine interest in agriculture, natural resources, or sustainable lifestyles * Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills * Must be reliable and adhere to work schedule * Ability to work as part of a team and independently at multiple locations * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors for extended lengths of time and in all weather conditions * Participate in FERPA, Title IX, and other developmental trainings as directed Condition of Employment: * Must pass a pre-employment criminal background screen. * Must be able to pass a drug screening. * Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable under Tribes insurance.
