Responsibilities

Management and Accounting:

The Senior Technician ensures all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards while providing exceptional customer service to commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain complex commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, VAV systems, heat pumps, VRF/VRV systems, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, and ventilation systems.
Lead advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and major component replacements.
Perform commercial system installations, start-ups, commissioning, and retrofits according to manufacturer specifications and project requirements.
Conduct detailed preventive maintenance and provide recommendations for system improvements, energy efficiency, and lifecycle upgrades.
Ensure all work adheres to company standards, project specifications, OSHA safety regulations, and local building codes.
Provide coaching, technical guidance, and on-the-job training to junior and mid-level technicians.
Work closely with dispatch, project managers, and estimators to support scheduling, work planning, and customer communication.
Build strong client relationships and communicate findings, options, and recommendations clearly and professionally.
Complete accurate documentation of service reports, time entries, parts usage, and job progress.
Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicle in safe operating condition.
Qualifications
10+ years of commercial HVAC service and/or installation experience required.
Strong proficiency with commercial systems including chillers, boilers, VRF/VRV, and complex control systems.
EPA Universal Certification required.
Technical school, trade certification, or completed HVAC apprenticeship highly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret commercial blueprints, plans, and control schematics.
Exceptional diagnostic skills and proven ability to resolve complex system issues independently.
Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service abilities.

Skills & Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:
