PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Quickly responds to service requests, production line calls, and internal customer needs. Maintains production areas and ensures all inside and outside areas are free from debris and other hazards, providing a safe and clean working environment. Performs preventative maintenance activities on all plant equipment on a daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual basis. Implements and modifies preventive maintenance programs by reviewing production and maintenance reports. Implements new ideas geared at reducing downtime and increasing productivity. Trains production workers in areas of equipment operation and routine preventive maintenance. Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and responding to requests. Places supply orders as needed.
