Job Description Day in the life of a Facilities Tech II: The Tech II is an intermediate level position with the facility services organization. Individuals who qualify for this position have extensive general maintenance experience and may have already started developing expertise in a specific trade but are not yet at the “master” level in that trade. Onsite in Fort Collins, CO Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm General Duties (includes but not limited to): · Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, and preventative maintenance tasks on equipment (injection molding machines, dryers, loaders, robots, temperature controllers, chillers, and other auxiliary equipment). · Perform scheduled maintenance activities according to maintenance plans to ensure equipment reliability and performance. · Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions (root cause analysis) and perform repairs using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment as necessary. · Assist Engineering with new equipment setup, installation, and commissioning. · Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance activities. · Document repairs, parts replacements, and maintenance procedures to track equipment performance and compliance with maintenance schedules. · Coordinate with Operations team members to prioritize maintenance tasks, address equipment downtime, and minimize production disruptions. · Communicate equipment status, maintenance needs, and repair recommendations. · Assist with additional team projects and duties as needed Physical Requirements: · Is expected to sit, walk, or stand for 8 hours per day. · Must be able to communicate verbally, be able to hear, and have clear and corrected vision for tasks that involve reading, writing, and working with small details. · Have physical agility for tasks that involve bending, kneeling, or reaching. · Have precise hand-eye coordination for tasks that involve handling small objects, tools, or machinery. · Must be able to lift/move 30-50 lbs. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent required. Post-secondary education or technical training in mechanical or electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field · 1-3 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in a manufacturing environment with injection molding equipment. · Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues with machinery and equipment. · Proficiency in mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics that are commonly found in injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. · Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions. · Understanding of safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and compliance with regulatory requirements governing equipment maintenance and operation in medical device manufacturing. · Experience in adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and regulatory guidelines. · Proficiency in the use of basic hand and power tools such as wrenches, drills, and saws, as well as proficiency in basic electronic diagnostic equipment such as the use of a multimeter to diagnose electrical issues. This position is for a seasonal part-time Lift Maintenance Mechanic. The Lift Maintenance Mechanic will participate in the daily maintenance and operations of Hoedown Hill's surface lifts by establishing HoeDown Hill Lift Maintenance Standard Operating Procedures, Colorado Tramway regulations, and safety protocols. This is equal parts mechanical & guest-facing position with a focus on providing an exceptional guest experience.
