Overview The Maintenance Utility Employee is responsible for performing a various services associated with maintaining hanger, hanger equipment and company vehicles in a safe and operational working conditions. Our company is looking for a detail-oriented, mechanically inclined Maintenance Laborer to join our Fairburn team. Our company specializes in boilers and boiler-related equipment, with offices in Georgia and Tennessee. In this role, you'll perform annual inspections and monthly maintenance visits at customer sites to ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently. Job Responsibilities * Perform annual boiler inspections and conduct routine monthly maintenance visits. * Safely operate hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment. * Work effectively in varying environments, including hot, cold, dusty, confined, and elevated spaces. * Identify and report equipment issues or concerns during site visits. * Accurately complete and submit required job documentation, including detailed notes, time logs, and photo records. * Carry out additional duties as assigned. * Maintain consistent, reliable attendance. Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent. * Valid driver's license required. * Skilled in identifying and using hand tools, power tools, and multimeters. * Comfortable working in demanding environments (extreme temperatures, confined areas, heights). * Prior experience with industrial steam boilers, hydronic boilers, or HVAC systems preferred but not required. * Familiarity with electrical systems up to 480V is a plus. * Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established procedures. * Basic computer skills; knowledge of computer-operated boiler controls is beneficial but not mandatory.
