This position assists with coordinating, performing, and troubleshooting routine facilities maintenance, including, but not limited to: construction, renovations, and landscaping. The individual in this role provides assistance with tooling and equipment problem solving support to multiple departments. This is a full-time or part-time position. Weekly hours are flexible and will be established at the time of hire, depending on applicant qualifications and business requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform carpentry tasks (repair doors, locks, shelving, trim, drywall patching) Perform minor plumbing maintenance (fix leaks, unclog drains, replace faucets or fixtures). Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues (replace ballasts, outlets, switches). Work with outside vendors and contractors as required. Handle minor painting and touch-up work. Maintain flooring (tile, carpet, laminate repairs). Ensure common areas, offices, and mechanical spaces remain safe and functional. Inspect and maintain exterior areas (walkways, signage, lighting). Seasonal tasks as needed (snow/ice removal, clearing debris). Assist with moving/assembling furniture and equipment. Set up and break down rooms for meetings and events. Perform daily walk-throughs to identify maintenance needs before they escalate. Understand and follow Company practices, policies, and procedures. Perform other work duties as assigned. May be required to work flexible hours. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: 1 year working experience in facility maintenance. Basic to intermediate carpentry/building skills. Basic understanding of plumbing and carpentry. Strong problem-solving skills. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lifting and transporting light to heavy items. Tolerance of fumes, odors and noise. May require bending, twisting, reaching, pushing and pulling. Prolonged sitting and/or standing. Repetitive motions. Ability to apply mental processes to understand and follow verbal/written communication and instructions. Ability to manage stress and adapt to change and frequent distractions. Basic understanding of plumbing and carpentry. Strong problem-solving skills. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lifting and transporting light to heavy items. Tolerance of fumes, odors and noise. May require bending, twisting, reaching, pushing and pulling. Prolonged sitting and/or standing. Repetitive motions. Ability to apply mental processes to understand and follow verbal/written communication and instructions. Ability to manage stress and adapt to change and frequent distractions.
