**Job Description:**
+ Accountable for proactively leading or supporting software engineering activities that create deliverables that guide the direction, development, and delivery of software solutions that meet business needs.
+ Provide leadership, facilitation, analysis, and design tasks required to deliver critical business solutions.
+ Develop target-state guidance (i.e., reusable standards, design patterns, guidelines, individual parts, and configurations) to evolve the organization's development process.
+ Conducts research, design, prototyping and other exploration activities to support dev/prep phase.
+ Collaborates with the Product Manager to create and refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
+ Participates in design. Reviews design strategy with Consultant Technical Lead.
+ Leverages paired programming to write code and automated acceptance test cases.
+ Works with the Product Manager to confirm that the code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality, writing the code.
+ Adheres to standards regarding code quality and uses design and coding best practices to build high-quality components and services.
+ Participates in code reviews.
+ Follows defined branching strategies. Checks new code into the shared source code repository meeting branching guideline requirements.
+ Collaborates with Consultants' Quality Assurance on test case creation.
+ Performs continuous improvement of the team's process and themselves embracing coaching and mentoring from their Consultant Technical Lead.
