We have a new opportunity for a temp with possibility of temp to hire. This position will be located in our warehouse and will support our Prep & Programming team. This team prepares and programs ink cartridges. When we say programming, it is not any kind of computer programming. It is literally just selecting the correct program on the computer screen and then placing the cartridge on a machine and removing itjaq. So they do need to be able to operate a computer - but nothing difficult or high level. This is a seated position but we are looking at the possibility of having this person cross-train into another position in the warehouse where they would perform pick and pull. That would involve lifting 50 lbs regularly and maneuvering 250 lbs skids of product. We have had some difficulty in the past where the candidate states they can lift the 50 lbs, but then they cannot pull the skid. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is taller and physically strong enough for the physical aspect of this position. The pay rate is $16.25 to start. If they are eventually hired on, the pay rate will increase to $16.75. **Role:** Sr Web Engineer **Must Haves:** *6+ years US experience * React & Redux * API Integration Experience * TypeScript * JavaScript * OOP Experience * Secure development best practices * STRONG communication experience **Job Description:** + Accountable for proactively leading or supporting software engineering activities that create deliverables that guide the direction, development, and delivery of software solutions that meet business needs. + Provide leadership, facilitation, analysis, and design tasks required to deliver critical business solutions. + Develop target-state guidance (i.e., reusable standards, design patterns, guidelines, individual parts, and configurations) to evolve the organization's development process. + Conducts research, design, prototyping and other exploration activities to support dev/prep phase. + Collaborates with the Product Manager to create and refine user stories and acceptance criteria. + Participates in design. Reviews design strategy with Consultant Technical Lead. + Leverages paired programming to write code and automated acceptance test cases. + Works with the Product Manager to confirm that the code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality, writing the code. + Adheres to standards regarding code quality and uses design and coding best practices to build high-quality components and services. + Participates in code reviews. + Follows defined branching strategies. Checks new code into the shared source code repository meeting branching guideline requirements. + Collaborates with Consultants' Quality Assurance on test case creation. + Performs continuous improvement of the team's process and themselves embracing coaching and mentoring from their Consultant Technical Lead.
