Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing refractory products, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Welder Assembler to join their dynamic team. As a Welder Assembler, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the assembly and quality assurance of refractory components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and a proactive approach to safety and quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Welder Assembler
**Location:** Batavia, OH
**Pay Rate:** $22.00 per hour
**Shift:** Monday through Saturday, 6am-3pm (may stay late to finish a job as business demands)
**What's the Job?**
+ Follow documented standard operating procedures to assemble refractory products by mortaring and welding (MIG)
+ Inspect refractory parts prior to mortaring and secure them with tac welds
+ Place assembled refractory pieces on drying racks and monitor the drying process
+ Set up and prepare components for welding according to specifications, ensuring weld quality and bead size compliance
+ Palettize, band, document, and label items for shipment, maintaining accurate records
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent (GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
+ 2 to 4 years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or production environment
+ Ability to interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and procedures
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
+ Ability to operate forklifts and hand/electrical tools safely and efficiently

+ Perform MIG welding on aluminum or steel.
+ Engage in production welding and some fab shop welding.
+ Interpret and read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.
+ Set up welding machines according to job and welding procedure specifications.
+ Utilize robotic welders as necessary.
+ Fit products to blueprint specifications.
