Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic ManufacturingEngineer to lead our Florida warehouse and manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for DM employees.
Participate in R&D for new products and product improvements.
Host tours for prospective clients and promote Disruptor Manufacturings offerings.
Meet monthly with Droplet International management for month-end reporting.
Track, measure, and report company performance metrics (products, revenues, etc.).
Know products and offerings thoroughly and be able to speak to and demonstrate their benefits.
Streamline and bring efficiencies to manufacturing processes.
Apply knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to Disruptor Manufacturing
Process Development and Improvement: Designing new production methods and systems and continuously evaluating and improving existing ones to increase efficiency and reduce waste (often using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies).
Troubleshooting and Support: Providing daily technical support to production teams, including troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, resolving process issues, and leading root-cause analysis of defects.
Equipment and Tooling Management: Evaluating, selecting, installing, and maintaining production equipment, machinery, and automation systems, including the design of jigs, fixtures, and tools.
Quality Control and Compliance: Developing and implementing quality control procedures and testing methods to ensure products meet specifications and industry standards (such as ISO or FDA regulations).
Workflow and Layout Planning: Analyzing and planning facility layouts and workflows to optimize material flow, space requirements, and overall production efficiency.
Cost Analysis and Reporting: Estimating production, labor, and material costs, and analyzing data and trends to provide management with reports for better decision-making.
Collaboration and Training: Working closely with cross-functional teams (such as design engineers, quality assurance, and maintenance staff) and training production personnel on new or revised processes and equipment.
New Product Introduction (NPI): Collaborating with design engineers to ensure new products are designed for manufacturability (DFM) and supporting their seamless launch into production.
Safety and Sustainability: Ensuring all manufacturing processes and equipment comply with safety regulations and, in some cases, developing sustainable practices to reduce environmental impact.

Designing systems with complex motion and integration from automated systems
Develops documents of system configuration and design. Documents include Description of operation, Detailed control system design description, panel assembly drawings and schematics, termination drawings, network layout, system implementation/acceptance test plans, system routine maintenance/job plans
Able to perform the following system design calculations/analysis: Short circuit protection, harmonics, noise reduction / cancellation, power consumption, load flow, short circuit protection, protective relay / circuit design, ground fault monitoring, safety system implementation (SIL/PL rating knowledge is preferred)
Designs, develops, and implements DCS/PLC control system (logic software) to meet process requirements. As well as the ability to understand and implement client design standards for software system
Understanding of control system components and instrumentation to properly design software interface/control to achieve system functionality
Develops documents detailing control/software configuration and design. Documents include: Theory/Description of operation, Detailed control system design description, Software design plan, Detailed software implementation/description, system implementation/acceptance test plans
Knowledge of design, troubleshooting, and code implementation for the following programming languages: Ladder logic (required), C++ (preferred), visual basic (preferred), and structured text (required)
Ability to perform processor loading calculations, scan time analysis, input/output response timing analysis, control system network delays analysis, and program task/code block priorities/timing management/interface
Can design code that is efficient (not processor resource heavy) while maintaining a minimalist implementation to help facility future modifications and understanding by client post turnover. This includes providing any documentation and/or tools that will assist with program understanding and troubleshooting
Ability to diagnose control system issues during troubleshooting to assist in determining root cause (trending, system analysis, test logic, etc.)
Ability to minimize secondary faults from occurring within logic by programming smart diagnostics that can determine root cause and minimize further effects caused by initial fault
Will assist with initial start-up and debug integrated systems and the development of system documentation
Individual will be working on automation and control system integration projects for clients in industries such as entertainment and manufacturing
Will act as technical lead on projects and may guide lower level engineers, technicians, and contractors
Knowledge of ride system design for attractions involving guests is preferred
Capable of working off shifts as needed during installation/commissioning to support project
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be organized, technically competent, have effective oral and written communications, experienced in working in a multi-disciplined environment and interfacing with engineers, designers, and drafters
Education bachelors degree in electrical engineering. (Bachelors degrees in other disciplines may be acceptable if work experience is directly related to electrical engineering. Disciplines outside of the electrical/controls area will not be considered.
Experience 5+ years of experience covering most responsibilities listed above. Preferred experience in ASTM standards, attractions industry, safety engineering, instrumentation, components, and logic programming. Experience with AutoCAD is also desired

A leading engineering group is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement complex control systems for large‑scale automation projects. This role spans the full lifecycle - from blank‑sheet system design to programming, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. What You'll Do
Lead electrical and controls engineering for large‑scale automation projects.
Design control systems from scratch (hardware, software, networks).
Create electrical panel designs, power calculations, and component selections.
Perform risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety‑critical design work.
Develop PLC/DCS logic using ladder logic, structured text, and other languages.
Produce detailed documentation: schematics, network layouts, test plans, descriptions of operation, and maintenance plans.
Conduct system integration with other engineering disciplines.
Optimize panel locations and system layouts to reduce voltage drop and improve efficiency.
Manage vendor scope and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.
Troubleshoot control systems using trending, test logic, and root‑cause analysis.
Implement “smart diagnostics” to prevent cascading faults.
Support installation, commissioning, startup, and debugging.
Act as technical lead and mentor junior engineers/technicians.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or directly related discipline).
5+ years of experience covering most responsibilities listed above.
Strong experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting tools.
Proficiency with PLC/DCS programming (ladder logic required; structured text required; C++/VB preferred).
Experience with major industrial platforms (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
Understanding of distributed I/O, ethernet‑based systems, and network delays.
Ability to perform system design calculations (short circuit, harmonics, load flow, grounding, relay design, etc.).
Experience with safety system implementation (SIL/PL preferred).
Strong communication skills and ability to work in multi‑discipline engineering teams.
Ability to travel up to 30% and work off‑shifts during commissioning when needed.
Comfortable working in office, industrial, and construction environments.
