Day to Day: Design and implement assembly processes for industrial compressors in a high-mix, low-volume environment. Plan workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout using Lean methodologies. Apply plant layout and material flow principles, including warehousing fundamentals. Specify, procure, and coordinate installation of material handling equipment (e.g. jibs, cranes) and other necessary tools, materials and gaging. Develop and improve manufacturing methods by leveraging knowledge of product design, materials, tooling, equipment capabilities, assembly techniques, and quality standards.
