    BU2 Thermal and Fluid System Your Contribution As a Manufacturing Engineer reporting to the Supervisor of Manufacturing Engineering (PTC), you will be responsible to diagnose and troubleshoot issues and support activities that relate to machine or system repair of serial production manufacturing. You will also support and maintain facility updates. * Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, those listed below. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. * Provide manufacturing engineering support to all plant departments. * Troubleshoot production issues; assist and/or direct maintenance issues on the manufacturing floor related to serial production. * Ensure equipment is performing effectively and efficiently. * Assist in performance and optimization of preventative maintenance. * Analyze equipment operating data to ensure equipment is operating as close to design parameters as possible. * Consults at a technical level with maintenance craft workers regarding equipment or work-related problems. * Participate in MAHLE Production Systems (MPS) activities in manufacturing areas (Kaizen events, cleaning boards, OEE, etc.) * Support, manage and control Facility Engineering projects/duties. * Coordinate subcontractors and maintenance of the facility. * Lead infrastructure projects with equipment installations and facility upgrades. * Coordinate all compliance requirements for annual certifications of material handling devices such as Gantry Cranes, Jib Cranes and Loading Docks. * Provide technical assistance and resolution when manufacturing problems are encountered before, during and after installation of new equipment or new construction. * Create complete and accurate process documentation and manufacturing instructions. * Prepare clear & concise technical/non-technical material (reports, presentations, etc.) * Effectively interact with Product, Process, Safety and Environmental department personnel as necessary. Effectively work with people at all levels & within cross-functional team environments to identify problems and provide solutions. * Research and implement improvements in the cost, quality or delivery of our products. * Reviews approved manufacturing engineering criteria for new or proposed projects. * Coordinate asset tag procedures, together with Controlling, for all equipment/fixtures/tools. * Develop standards for major maintenance overhauls. Communicate adjustments to the plan with the Planner. Your Experience & Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited four-year college or university * Three to Five years of experience in manufacturing engineering and equipment maintenance.
