Position: Electrical MaintenanceTechnician II
Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM- 11 PM) or AWS Days or Nights

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
· Performs expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance. This includes but is not limited to: observing devises in operation to locate root cause of problem; dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts; examining parts to detect imperfections; adjustment of functional parts of devices and control instruments; repair and/or replacement of defective parts; testing of device to observe performance; and performing tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems; reconditioning and repairing machine tools.
· Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary. Performs evaluations of alternatives to improve cost and / or reliability of equipment.
· Independently performs maintenance as per industry standards.
· Works with Planner Scheduler to optimize preventative maintenance procedures.
· May be required to setup and operate multiple machining operations including but not limited to: lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. May perform welding tasks.
· Complies with 5S and housekeeping standards.
· Leads, drives and participates in CI activities--processes, results and cost savings using CI tools and methodology.
· Provides assistance to lower level technicians and leadership to project teams. Performs expert functions as a part of training and development.
· Troubleshoots and analyzes complex control systems to resolve in-depth software/ hardware and configuration problems.
· Utilizes predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data. Observes trends and makes recommendations.
· Updates records and reviews CMMS history and analyzes data.
· Completes and conducts on-the-job training and technical self-study programs for career development.
· Follows all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines. Situational awareness and identify unsafe behaviors and conditions.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Behaviors Required:
· Knowledge and experience of Boiler System, Ammonia and Freon Chillers, Air Compressors, Glycol and AHU cooling systems, Fire protection system, Air Handling system and Waste Water system.
· Perform mechanical, plumbing, piping, and basic electrical repairs
· Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation within the CMMS
· Conduct routine preventive maintenance, including filter changes, belt inspections, lubrication, and system performance tuning.
· Support operation and repair of wastewater treatment equipment and maintain potable water systems, pumps, chemical feed systems, valves, and associated piping.
· Perform scheduled inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on steam and hot-water boilers.
· Troubleshoot system pressures, oil levels, electrical controls, and moisture problems.
· Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
· Support emergency repair needs and participate in an on-call rotation as required.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb, ascend/descend or balance to heights that may require a ladder or lift; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in confined spaces; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to use close vision and color vision. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. Work is typically performed in a factory environment and is usually very loud. In the factory environment, the employee may be exposed to hazardous materials and/or greasy or slippery factory floors.

Maintenance Mechanic - Pickling Facility - Off Shift - $33.19/hour
Job Purpose:
To install, maintain, diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic and electrical systems/apparatus associated with automated and robotic technology.
Essential Functions:
Perform various activities relative to the installation, removal and relocation of automated and robotic equipment which may involve mechanical, electrical/electronic components, instrumentation and programming. Plan layouts of wiring or piping and installs piping, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, wiring, conduit, track and rails, and electrical apparatus on robotic or automated equipment. Customize PLCs, sensors, controllers, circuits and logic boards, micro-servomotors, and actuators for tool manufacturing activities.
Perform all necessary preventative electrical, mechanical and programming maintenance activities on plant automated and robotic equipment or machinery; inspects and replaces wiring and electrical/electronic components, circuit boards, PLCs, HMIs, motors, relays, sensing devices, switches, etc. as necessary or required by maintenance schedule.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic and programming problems on automated and robotic plant equipment through inspection, monitoring, and testing of plant machinery and equipment; listening for sounds emitted from equipment to detect malfunctions; discussing machines operational functions with Foreman and other employees; and observing abnormal operational problems for equipment repair.
Repair, fabricate, replace or adjust automated and/or robotic electrical, electronic and mechanical components, wiring or piping used in production to maximizing production time and minimizing down time. Assists with research and development projects.
Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork, records, documents, etc.

Requirements
Education/Experience:
Must have AS degree in electronics or computers with experience in automated/robotic technology or equivalent work experience. An Electrical Engineering degree a plus.
Physical:
Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours or more per day and work from ladder/man-lift.
Must be able to use both hands to finger, handle, feel and reach.
Must be able to frequently lift/ move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs.
Must have close vision and depth perception and the ability to adjust focus on work.
Employees will be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, high noise levels, and vibration to hands.
Employees will be required to wear hearing protection, safety glasses and foot protection.
Mental:
Must have the ability to read, comprehend, and interpret complex written and verbal instructions; operating and maintenance instructions; and technical and procedure manuals.
Must be able to perform mathematical skills such as: addition, subtractions, multiplication, and division of all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; and ability to compute rate, ratio, proportions, percentage, area, circumference and volume. Must also use concepts such as basic algebra, geometry and trigonometry.
Must have ability to deal with problems involving multiple abstract and concrete variables in varying situations.
Technical:
Must be able to troubleshoot electrical (up to 480 v and 3-phase), electronic (up to 24v DC) , and mechanical problems, circuit boards, motors, transformers and PLCs; and read blueprints, electrical and electronic specifications, schematics, and diagrams or technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
Must be able to operate forklift, hand/ power tools; electrical/electronic test equipment (i.e. multi-meter, oscilloscope, etc.); and cutting/welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
