Under general direction of the Water Production Lead Operator, the Water Production Operator operates and maintains the water production facilities to assure an adequate supply of potable and palatable water for the public water system and assists in ensuring compliance with all Texas Commission Environmental Quality (TCEQ) rules and regulations related to a public water system. Water Production Operator I This entry-level position in water production operations involves working under close supervision while learning and performing essential duties of the trade.. 1. Regulate flow of potable water through the production facilities and maintain water level in reservoir and elevated towers to meet the system demands. 2. Operate & maintain various pumps, motors, and other water production equipment and machinery. 3. Assist in the collection of all necessary water samples and perform standardized laboratory tests to monitor and control water quality. 4. Quality Technician Department: Quality Reports To: Quality Control Manager The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that all components, sub-assemblies, and finished solar panels meet established quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This role performs visual, dimensional, and functional inspections; identifies defects or nonconformities; supports corrective actions; verifies manufacturing process control using inspection and measurement data; and maintains accurate records in compliance with company specifications, safety requirements, and applicable quality system standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, sub-assemblies, and finished solar panels. Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections to confirm conformance to specifications, work instructions, and quality standards. Operate and support automated inspection steps throughout the manufacturing line and verify product quality to documented standards. Use precision measuring instruments and testing equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, and electronic testing tools) to validate product requirements. Position Responsibilities may include: Support production to resolve equipment, process and technical issues to maintain process in optimal state Provide daily support to assigned area for repairs, installations and regular on-going maintenance / operational excellence Provide diagnostic leadership to the team and floor support to the operations area for production issues Create or update engineering electronic drawing files and engineering specifications using CAD software Work with Engineers to set up and/or perform tests, build prototypes, collect variable data Gather data and maintain information for issues creating downtime on the assigned process area; creating a priority of actions for irreversible corrective actions Set-up production equipment, changeovers, and improve equipment up-times to model changeovers Develop solutions to engineering task that are creative and focused to reduce cost and improve the process Support development of new processes, equipment and procedures to improve the cycle time, quality and assembly performance Support the design, fabrication and maintenance of assembly tooling, fixtures and hardware for production area Inspect equipment and processes for flaws and identify areas of improvement; and areas for future product enhancements Perform other duties as assigned Nature and Scope: Works under general supervision of the Engineering / Area Supervisor Serves as a resource to others in resolving complex problems and issues Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals Takes on duties and tasks that have substantial variety and complexity Knowledge and Skills: Understanding and knowledge of manufacturing engineering theory, processes, and practice Mechanical aptitude and experience in assembly, fabrication or maintenance Proven electrical experience with high and low voltage machines, able to work with electrical diagrams.
