Properly utilize Esko Automation Engine and other standard processes to produce efficient layouts quickly. Ensure the printer operators have all necessary information prior to printing. Possess a strong sense of organization. Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple workflows and processes is a requirement. Proofing: Prepare sign proofs from existing templates for customer approval. When required, interact directly with customers via email, remote, or phone. As a Production Operator - Bond/Mask you will assemble, disassemble, bond, mask, and repair electronic assemblies in a flexible manufacturing environment in accordance with standardized processes, procedures or methods. What a Day Looks Like: Bond and masking electronic circuit boards to class 2 and class 3 requirements in accordance with J-STD. Solder/bond and coat and install components, wires, and adhesives on PC Boards. Read and work from assembly processes, procedures, engineering drawings, and specifications. Assemble circuit boards in accordance with standardized processes, procedures, and methods. Work with mechanical and/or electrical assemblies involving fixed indicating meters, in-circuit test/functional test, marking machines, jigs & fixtures, packaging, wire cutting, stripping & twisting equipment, various types of fastening devices involving power operations, hand tools and gauges (fixed, micrometers, calipers, rules). Perform ICT and Functional testing on various products. Crimp pins, using both hand and semi-automatic crimping tools. Use heat guns to install heat shrink and/or solder splices. Strip wire using thermal, hand and semi-automatic strippers. Perform light mechanical assembly duties. Perform inspection of your work and the work of your co-workers. Record time and quantities on daily production logs and time sheets. Read and work from assembly processes, procedures, engineering drawings and specifications. Adequate understanding, knowledge and experience in systems, instruments and controls theory. Adequate understanding, knowledge, experience and skills to utilize computer software, including but not limited to: Outlook, Excel and Access as well as system and equipment diagnostic software. Skill in use and care of tools and equipment used in installation and adjustment of instruments, electrical systems and equipment. Ability to inspect and analyze instruments to detect flaws or defects in their operation and make necessary corrective calculations. PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess certain physical abilities and be able to withstand work related environmental conditions. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must possess the ability to become site-oriented and stand watch within 60 days of assignment to position. Work requires normal color vision to distinguish the color and severity of many control and safety devices. Work requires the use of personal protection equipment including hearing protection, eye protection, foot protection, hand protection, head protection and use of respiratory protection equipment, including self-contained breathing units, in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. Work requires the ability to work at heights of over 100 feet on open grating or from aerial devices and the ability to climb and descend stairs and ladders. Work requires physical strength and agility sufficient to safely perform all essential job functions including the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 50 pounds without assistance and to stand, kneel and stoop. Work requires the ability to work safely with hazardous chemicals, including, but not limited to: acids, caustics, water treatment and maintenance chemicals. Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing, see physical surroundings, listen, hear others, respond to oral commands, and demonstrate good communications skills. WORK ENVIRONMENT Employees in this classification are required to work a rotating shift schedule. Employees in this classification are required to work holidays.     The Engineer Technician is primarily responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repair at the World Equestrian Center. The Engineering Tech is expected to report to Chief Engineer or Supervisor upon arriving to work to receive work to be one for the day, as well as give or receive Shift Turnover communication.
