When in doubt overprotect versus under protect. • Have the ability to learn and develop the skill to assemble products as well as do minor touch ups, repairs, and refurbishment to ensure all products are rent ready within 48 hours. • Build great customer relationships by utilizing communication and service skills to ensure customer retention and enhance the customer's experience during all customer interaction. • Assist in managing customer's accounts by securing on time payments and collecting on delinquent accounts at customer's home and in the store. • As a brand ambassador always represent yourself and your company in a professional manner. • Complete weekly vehicle inspections ensuring proper maintenance is performed for safe driving and ensure daily that vehicles are clean and stocked with proper tools and accessories. • Assist in maintaining the highest quality showroom presentation that creates a customer friendly sales environment. • Be responsible for maintaining, organizing, protecting, and storing products in stock room area. • Actively learn about the products we offer. Be a product knowledge expert. • Use hand receipts on all product returns and payments in the field. • Complete all other tasks assigned at the discretion of management. Mayland Community College is a small, comprehensive community college located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina. The College serves over 8,000 general education, vocational, and technical students each year through curriculum education classes. The College is one of the 58 institutions in the North Carolina Community College System and serves an area of approximately 50,000 persons. Total annual institutional FTE is 2,000.Under general supervision of the Business Administration Program Coordinator or division Dean, the faculty member teaches assigned class loads and serves as faculty advisor according to the rules and procedures of the College. * Provides classroom and course management in a manner that is consistent with appropriate professional conduct * Utilizes appropriate textbooks, reference materials, software, audio visual aids, and learning resources for classroom use * Assists students outside of scheduled class times as needed * Utilizes methods of instruction and teaching techniques that are appropriate to the fulfillment of course goals and objectives * Furnishes all data and reports according to deadlines set by the Career Technologies Division using appropriate forms and formats * Develops and maintains syllabi following the college's syllabus template, submits an electronic copy to the Program Coordinator and provides the students a copy the first week of class * Maintains accurate class rosters (census reports and final attendance reports), and submits those rosters in the same manner and at the times required by the Program Coordinator, Division Associate Dean, and Director of Admissions, Records, and Registration * Submits final grades each semester as specified on Academic Calendar * Submit Early Alerts and Administrative Withdrawals as outlined in MCC procedures * Attends faculty and unit meetings and workshops if deemed necessary by the Program Coordinator/ and or Division Associate Dean * Notifies Program Coordinator of any absences or alterations in the class schedule in advance and in writing, if possible * Carries out special assignments at the request of the Program Coordinator and or Division Associate Dean * Has knowledge of the requirements of working with students with disabilities and coordinating services, as required by appropriate college staff and community agencies * This position may include teaching evening, blended, and/or online courses, as well as traditional daytime courses. Class offerings may be at multiple locations, campuses, and learning centers within Avery, Mitchell, and Yancey counties. Associate of Applied Science in Hospitality Management or related field. Associate of Applied Science in Hospitality Management or related field and experience teaching in a higher education setting.
