Job Details • Work in a respiratory care unit at a children's acute care, teaching hospital, • Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week, 19:00 to 7:30, • Every other weekend required, • No floating required outside primary scope of practice, • Patient population includes neonatal and pediatric critical care in a level 1 trauma setting, • Experience with ED, NICU, and PICU patients required, • Utilizes the Epic EMR system; Epic charting experience may be required in certain units, Job Requirements • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with active license required if applicable, • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required, • Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric respiratory care, • Experience in NICU and/or PICU settings required, • Level 1 trauma and emergency department experience required, • Epic EMR experience preferred, • First-time travelers accepted, • Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius; locals not accepted, • Pending state license accepted for IL; active MO license required, Additional Information • Provide advanced respiratory therapy for neonatal and pediatric patients in critical care, • Part of an interdisciplinary team in a high-acuity, teaching environment, • Scrub color is flexible; any color or hospital-branded T-shirts/jackets accepted, • No on-call responsibilities, • No more than 7 days of requested time off per 13-week contract; no time off allowed during first week of orientation, • Permanent former employees must wait one year before returning as a traveler, • Travelers can complete up to 18 months of continuous service before a 3-month break is required, • Orientation modules are compensated up to 16 hours, • COVID and Flu vaccination requirements may apply,
