JOB SUMMARY Position Summary Responsible for general maintenance of the casino/hotel buildings. Performs basic duties in several areas of operations services. These duties are wide ranging and require the ability to make decisions and perform work based on knowledge of the facility and past experience. This function operates while skilled trades are unavailable. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Include, but are not limited to: * Troubleshoot and repair property equipment. * Maintain logs on equipment. * Proficiency in all phases of operation of fire panels. * Recommend needed parts for purchase, order parts and services if needed. * Responds to radio, telephone, and verbal requests for maintenance and repairs throughout the property. * Experience with plumbing, carpentry, masonry, electrical, painting, and repair or maintenance of central heating and air conditioning systems. * Trained in hands-on equipment maintenance. * Maintains a safe work environment. * Ability to operate forklift * Ability to operate motor vehicles * Able to operate computer to access work orders, update work orders, and respond to relevant e-mails as needed * Must be self-motivated and be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks on a minute-by-minute basis and ability to meet deadlines. * Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future. * May be required to qualify for and maintain gaming license * May be asked to operate a company vehicle and/or equipment that requires a valid driver's license. * Other duties as assigned REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES Qualifications * Maintain interpersonal working relationships among personnel and the public. * Oral and written communication skills * Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the position. * Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing customer service * To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Education / Training / Experience * High school degree or equivalent is preferred; one to four years' experience preferred. * Must be able to safely operate mechanical tools and inspection gauges. * Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, samples, specifications and be able to follow verbal instructions. * Must be able to safely work at varying heights throughout the facility utilizing ladders and scaffolds. * Must be able to demonstrate safe lifting capability for 50 pounds on a regular basis and be able to operate lifting mechanisms for heavier loads. Responsible for production and compliance assigned duties. This includes but is not limited to batch and process manufacturing, compliance responsibilities, inventory control, bulk material handling, and packaging. Essential Functions: Works with Production Supervisors, Process Technicians, other Utility, and the Corporate Compliance Manager in the safe handling of the equipment and chemical intermediates in both storage and use in production Understand and demonstrate compliance with HMIS, SDS's, HAZCOM, General Safety, HAZWASTE, LO/TO, PSM, PPE protocol, and proper housekeeping Management of Wastewater including monitor and reporting of tank volumes, compliant and effective loading of the outbound water trailers, sampling tanks and trailers, neutralization when necessary, and weight tickets for outbound trailers Management of Storm Water including monitor and reporting of storm water in containment areas and reporting to Corporate Compliance Manager, Sampling Storm Water and logging samples into laboratory, compliant and effective discharge of the Storm Water, and completing the cycle of required documentation including the Storm Water checklist back to Corporate Compliance Manager Housekeeping specific assigned areas and duties Maintain hazardous waste satellite and accumulations areas such that they are compliant with all regulations, including monitoring containment pallets and emptying via proper disposal when necessary as well as respective Satellite and Accumulation Area checklists for compliance. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED Minimum 2 years' experience in the field Physical Requirement: Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs. frequently
