As a Perfect Game Gate Keeper, you will run point for all fan entry into the baseball field. You will ensure that every customer purchases a wristband as your primary job. Occasionally, you will also sell programs or merchandise as well. Specific responsibilities and duties include: Maintain the commitment to work the full duration of time/event you signed up for. This includes arriving at the time told, leaving your field at the time told to drive to your check out destination, and staying at your check out destination with your Area Coordinator until you are fully checked out. Term: 3/1/26 - 8/31/26 Essential Duties/Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the position is to score/complete each game using our DiamondKast software. This also includes taking ample scouting notes on the players and recording each pitch type and velocity. These tasks are completed using the DiamondKast application on a provided iPad. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, confirming the field is ready for play (most fields will have a grounds crew present to prep the field), confirm umpires are on the property prior to games and on field prior to the start time, confirm both teams are present and ready to start play at the official start time, and to make sure all games start on time. Start Date: 3/2/26 Rate- $500 per week Primary Duties Covered in ContractTournament Prep Active involvement in ordering and receiving new shipments Coordinating sizes with corresponding event types . (Youth vs. High School) Managing inventories Planning and executing distribution of merchandise to on site sales interns. On Site Ensure high levels of satisfaction through excellent sales service. Evaluate and oversee merchandise sales interns at various locations. Recommend and display items that match the customer needs. Manage point of sales and processes using the Square app. Tournament Wrap Up: Coordinating the collection of merchandise from all locations and interns. Ensuring all merchandise is accounted for and returned (back to the office or in storage). Monitoring sales performance of products for future reference Verifying correct inventories after sales. Reporting all information and logistics back to the head merchandise coordinator.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH COORDINATOR PAY PLAN: 118 - $50,492.00 minimum salary SECTION I-JOB DESCRIPTION Responsible for developing, facilitating and implementing outreach activities/strategies, special events, programs and presentations which support the activities of the Precinct. Also responsible for connecting people in the community by creating agreements and cultivating relationships with businesses, individuals and other relevant organizations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with community contacts. Develops, facilitates and implements outreach activities, special events, programs and presentations to increase awareness of the Precincts presence and activities in the community. Serves as a contact for media inquiries and request for information. Develops and maintains relationships with the local media, including print and electronic media outlets. Manages constituent related activities, such as complaints, correspondence and other similar administrative and customer support functions. Assists in the preparations of presentation or speeches. Provides creative support for internal and external communication efforts including print, web sites, electronic communication, community engagement, media and video. Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of the Precincts' policies, principles and strategies, and to keep up-to-date with relevant developments. Provide support to County staff as needed related to the use of communication efforts in the County. Normal working hours are 8 am to 5 pm (Mon. thru Fri.) but some after hours and weekends will be required. Performs other duties as required. SECTION II- JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college/university with major course work in business or public relations, journalism or communications. One (1) year of experience in journalism, communication or public relations. Two (2) years of experience may be substituted for one (1) year of education. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of social media and emerging communication platforms Knowledge of English grammar, various communication media uses, format requirements, audiences etc. Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with other employees, departments, representative from the media, civic groups and the public. Skill in writing and editing. Ability to perform under stress and when confronted with emergency situations. Knowledge of the ethical guidelines applicable to all communications personnel as outlined by professional standards, law, rules, regulations and procedures. Competencies in desktop publishing skills and graphic production and design. Ability to compose and produce a variety of informational material for release to media or publications. Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to communicate fluently in English or Spanish (preferred). SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have a valid Texas motor vehicle operator's license ADA Compliance Physical Ability: Tasks require the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds). Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or work station. Sensory Requirements: Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate sounds and visual cues or signals. Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally. Environmental Factors: Essential functions are regularly performed without exposure to adverse environmental conditions. SECTION III-JOB DIMENSIONS CONTACTS: External Contacts: Constant contact with the general public. Communication is primarily face-to-face but will include all communication types (i.e. print, video, social media). Internal Contacts: Constant contact with co-workers and other County employees. GOOD JUDGMENT is required to perform the duties of this position and how it impacts the image of the precinct and/or the County. DISCRETION & INITIATIVE are needed to complete work assignments. SOUND DECISION ability is required to set individual work priorities. GUIDANCE: Employee receives general supervision when performing the essential functions. Employee selects appropriate procedures required to complete work assignments. WORKING CONDITIONS: Working conditions are primarily inside with exposure to temperature variations. This is not a Civil Service covered position.
