Responsibilities:

Maintain open lines of communication between the department, vendors, warehouse staff, and unit management

Maintain and update the database on any daily, weekly, or monthly price changes
Ability to foresee and anticipate a swing in weekly usage
Process and file purchase orders
Create and maintain a weekly product usage report/database
Train and provide feedback to unit management on completing waste logs, transfer forms, and weekly inventory to help manage cost of sales
Assist the Food and Beverage Operations department with hiring seasonal staff and department events

Development and implementation of strength and conditioning programs to excel individual player performance and reduce risk of injuries
Evaluation of player performance through testing and workload monitoring in conjunction with selected key performance indicators (KPIs)
Live global positioning system (GPS) monitoring of players during training and games
Plan and develop late-stage return to play sessions - working in collaboration with medical staff
Provide daily and weekly reports to the coaching staff regarding individual player and team physical performance
Testing and analyzing player physical performance and creating reports for coaches and players
Qualifications
Basic knowledge and understanding of soccer
Current undergraduate or graduate student studying sports exercise and science, strength and conditioning, CSCS accreditation, or a related field
Demonstrates effective communication, time management, and organizational skills
Lives within 60-miles of Whippany, New Jersey
Possess a driver's license and/or reliable transportation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Purpose of this Internship
The New York Red Bulls are looking for motivated college students who will support the Marketing Partnerships team during the Spring 2026 semester (internship to begin in late January and run through mid-April). The internship will provide college credit, and is a great learning opportunity for those interested in pursuing a career in the sports industry. Interns will gain knowledge and insight into a revenue-generating department within the sports industry, and will learn how the Sponsorship Sales team works with prospective new brands to create custom partnerships, as well as the Sponsorship Activation team on managing current partnership accounts. Office hours during the week are flexible based on school/class schedule, but availability for Red Bulls home matches are mandatory (which may interfere with holidays and weekends). Must be able to commit 15-20 hours per week to office hours on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays.
