This role supports the construction projectmanagement of a leased space portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated experience in tenant improvements, collaborating with design consultants, overseeing contractors, coordinating with landlords, and managing buildouts. Proficiency in Schematic Design (SD) and Construction Documentation (CD) phases is essential.
The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work on projects outside of TMC and in our Houston Area Locations. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of MD Anderson's strategic expansion and build out of new clinics and state of the art spaces.
The work schedule is a hybrid/remote position, working onsite Tuesday - Thursday.
The salary range is $119,500 - $149,500 - $179,500.

SUMMARY
The primary purpose of the Senior Facilities ProjectManager position is to represent Facilities Planning, Design and Construction while providing projectmanagement expertise in management of one or more assigned projects. Under minimal direction, independently manages complex major capital facility projects. Possess an extensive knowledge of construction processes, product application and building/infrastructure component assembly. Demonstrate broad projectmanagement skills in the management of integration/coordination of project elements, delegation of activities in the management of stakeholders, scope management, time management, cost management, quality assurance, managing changes priorities and communication management in the generation, collection, dissemination, storage and ultimate disposition of project information. Assures compliance with, and adheres to, current institutional and industry standards.
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
ProjectManagementManage the key projects aspects of scope, budget, schedule, and project contract compliance. Ensure that projects are successfully completed on schedule, within the approval budget and in accordance with applicable quality standards.
Guide and manage the Project Team ( customers, General Contractor/Construction Manager, Consultants, Capital Planning & Management internal resources and Facilities Management Division groups) to yield productive actions through conflict management and use of good written and verbal communication to ensure a successful project completion.
Compliance/Regulations Manage contractual compliance and relationships for the assigned projects. Defines & implements contractual and financial strategies. Coordinate approval procedures with the BOR, THECB, FSC and associated State Agencies. Work collaboratively with Supply Chain Services in the preparation of necessary documentation for contract award. Support the ROCIP on the selected projects.
Documentation/Recordkeeping Develops and managesproject documentation, record keeping, financial and activity status reports that are accurate, up-to-date, clear and complete in support of the decision making, issue solving and informing processes of a project. Ensure that the project documentation records are organized and stored properly.
Other duties as assigned
Required: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science or other construction related Architectural Engineering field or related discipline. Five years of projectmanagement/construction experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
Preferred: Then years experience in relevant commercial Construction Management and/or Interior/Architectural design, with a focus in healthcare, academic, and/or research facilities. Experience in procurement and building activation/move coordination.

Purpose
We are seeking a senior design assurance engineer to oversee the implementation and DO-278A certification of mission-essential web applications. They will serve as a technical leader within the laboratory in the areas of design assurance. As a key member of a team of engineers, they will be responsible for guiding the team to ensure the resulting product can achieve certification. The team is responsible for eliciting systems scope from stakeholders, allocating and deriving requirements, translating requirements into systems designs, implementing the components, verifying the implementation, and delivering to the customer.
Responsibilities
Lead safety-critical system design, development, decomposition, and tracking of safety-critical system requirements from initial design to formal validation and verification activities per DO-278A.
Lead identification of safety-critical system interfaces and conduct Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA) allocations to define objectives for system safety.
Identify evidence supporting the achievement DA levels identified in the FHA and map to Design Assurance objectives.
Provide Design Assurance Engineering Analysis and DA Reviews support.
Provide engineering services supporting Gap Analysis based on final Program Requirements Document (fPRD), Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA), and other safety artifacts.
Develop DO-278A Compliance Audit, compile a Development Assurance Compliance Report, deliver synopsis of work performed and support integration.
Other related functions as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher, in science, applied science, or engineering.
Five or more years relevant professional work experience in highly technical, safety-critical, aviation related industry.
Five or more years experience as a technical team leader with responsibilities for the development and implementation of safety-critical systems.
Understanding of software development processes according to RTCA DO-178C, DO-278A, and DO-331.
Experience in identifying and addressing Design Assurance (DA) gaps.
Experience in conducting Compliance Audits for DO-278A.
Demonstrated ability to make security-related architectural and implementation decisions for web applications throughout the stack.

Purpose
Analyze project CPM schedules from PMs and contractors to verify compliance with PDC PM policies and contract documents. Develop reports on analysis results, methods of recovery and schedule enhancements, and areas for improvement to the benefit of the project and PDC clients.
Responsibilities
Analyze P6 CPM schedules and provide detailed reports identifying issues which will affect the critical path of all CIP projects. Utilize industry standard CPM schedule analysis software such as Schedule Analyzer along with experience and knowledge of construction schedules, UT System and UT Austin contracts and requirements. Analyze task relationships, leveling, critical path, lags/leads, resource and cost loading data as required by contract.
Analyze Microsoft Project schedules developed by PMs for all projects and for those contractors using it for CP Projects. Utilize industry standard CPM schedule analysis software along with experience and knowledge of construction schedules, UT System and UT Austin contracts and requirements. Analyze task relationships, leveling, critical path, lags/leads, resource and cost loading data as required by contract.
Monitor each analyzed CPM schedule periodically to validate critical schedule issues identified are resolved. Work with the PM and contractor to utilize the analysis to recover, enhance, or shorten a schedule to the benefit of the project and client by conducting meetings, workshops, and planning sessions.
Develop, present, and implement a CPM schedule development, analysis, and schedule recovery training syllabus and sessions to educate PMs, CAs, clients, and leadership on the importance of proper project schedule development and maintenance practices to identify and mitigate project risks.
Aggregate schedule analysis issues, recovery strategies, etc. by project type to develop leading indicators that can be applied as Lessons Learned for presentation to PMs and PDC leadership and to assist planning of future projects by type. Hold regular meetings with PMs, Team Leads, Associate Directors, and Directors to present schedule dashboard data.
Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project problems to the PM in coordination with the Project Controls Group. May interface with clients, attend regular meetings and give statistical reports as needed.
Other related functions as assigned.
Required Qualifications
5 years of design and construction scheduling and scheduling analysis experience with emphasis on university or Federal projects. P6 and MS Project scheduling required. Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, or related field (technical training and related experience may be considered in lieu of). Understanding of CPM and Earned Value Management System. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and construction and AE contracts. Strong written and verbal communications skills with ability to develop and present reports and analysis data to a diverse audience. Regular, reliable attendance a must. Work productively during operating hours and meet deadlines timely. Will visit project worksites regularly to verify progress of projects against the schedules being analyzed.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
10 years of design and construction scheduling and scheduling analysis experience with emphasis on university or Federal projects. 3 years of design and construction scheduling and scheduling analysis experience with UT Austin and UT System projects. Familiarity with University rules, policies, and procedures regarding purchasing and travel. Experience with university systems, including file structure, OPUS, FAMIS, Define, etc.
Driving Required
This job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provide a current three year driving record from the current state of residence. Required Qualifications

Purpose
The Academic & Workforce Program Manager will oversee TIE's academic and workforce initiatives and, if awarded, will serve as the operational lead for the National Network for Microelectronics Education Regional Node, supporting multi-state coordination, subawards, and reporting. Purpose
Provide professional projectmanagement of complex higher education academic, research and healthcare projects across multiple campuses. Project types include new construction, fit-out of shell spaces, renovations, and refurbishment of existing buildings and infrastructure. Managesproject team in directing design professionals, collaborating with campus partners, and administering contracts necessary to meet project goals, while maintaining budget, schedule and timely reporting to leadership.
Responsibilities
Lead complex projects involving planning, design and execution of major higher education capital projects by providing project leadership, communication, coordination and conflict resolution to ensure project goals are met. May also be responsible for managing select projects as assigned by the Associate Director depending on resource needs.
Responsible for project budget, schedule, and procurement of design and construction services. Assist ProjectManagers to drive progress of consultants to achieve expected functionality; and recommend alternatives to recover negative float. Facilitate timely decisions by campus representatives and report progress and issues impacting the project goals to stakeholders. Oversee projectmanagers efforts to manageproject from initiation through completion of construction.
Advocate with integrity for the campus contract negotiations. Review and approve design and construction contracts, changes, technical service contracts, Guaranteed Maximum Price submittals, bid documents, pay applications, etc. Facilitate UT Austin and UT System approvals as required.
During construction, direct and/or provide support to Project Team, Construction Administrators, and institution staff in management of construction activities and processes. Assist ProjectManagers in applying UT Austin Capital Planning and Construction project control processes to track progress; for consistency; to mitigate risks; and to assure compliance with Board of Regents Rules' Regulations and applicable State and Federal statutes and regulations.
Stay current in Codes and Regulations applicable to design and construction, including International Building Codes, NFPA 101, TDLR, OSHA, ADA, ASHRAE 90.1, SWPPP, and any special requirements of the building type (e.g., healthcare, research labs, special campus project types, etc.) or the local jurisdictions.
Support UT Austin in pre-project planning activities, including Capital Improvement Plan preparation and Board of Regents and Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board submittals and approval processes.
Participate in or lead process improvement initiatives as assigned by the Assistant Director.

Required Qualifications

Purpose
The University of Texas at Austin is seeking to hire a full-time Senior MRI Program Manager to join the Biomedical Imaging Center (BIC) and lead the MR component of the BIC's mission. The BIC is a university core facility that incorporates multi-modal biomedical imaging (MRI, PET, CT, optical imaging) and supports basic, translational and clinical research at UT-Austin and the wider community. Our user-base is diverse and encompasses human and preclinical imaging across multiple fields including oncology, neurology, psychology, psychiatry, nutrition and biomedical engineering. The Associate Director of MRI Research will occupy a key leadership position within the BIC and be responsible for expanding our technical capabilities and services, enhancing our educational programs, and overseeing the management of our imaging systems. Responsibilities
Direct the MRI component of the BIC's scientific and educational mission.
Provide the scientific and academic expertise to guide the expansion of our technical capabilities by liaising with faculty and developing and implementing new MRI methods and services on the Center's MRI systems.
Lead the MRI team and oversee the management of the clinical and preclinical MR systems of the BIC, ensuring that each system is operating effectively and efficiently.
Coordinate the educational and training programs of the BIC regarding MR imaging and spectroscopy, including the development of curricula that ensure institutional safety and compliance requirements are met.
Collaborate with our support team and provide advanced technical support to BIC users for human and pre-clinical MR imaging and spectroscopy.

Required Qualifications
PhD in a discipline related to biomedical MRI e.g. biomedical engineering, physics, chemistry / biochemistry, with a detailed knowledge of MR physics. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a doctoral qualification.
3 or more years of post-doctoral experience in the application of MRI to human neuroimaging research, ideally including fMRI applications.
Pulse Sequence and / or image reconstruction programming.
Demonstrated ability to train and support researchers in MRI.

Within the Dean's Office, the Research and Facilities unit serves as the central hub for all matters related to research activities and facilities projects across the college. This team manages all CNS space and oversees the planning, approval and execution of renovations and building projects, including faculty recruitment space needs, teaching and research labs, and shared facilities.
Purpose
The purpose of this position is to oversee selected CNS projects and maintain accurate project databases to support effective planning and execution. The role serves as the primary point of contact for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE) coordination across all projects and provides administrative and financial support, including ProCard transactions, invoicing, and purchases for Research & Facilities-funded projects. This position integrates and coordinates with project planning, design teams, CNS operations, and building management staff to ensure seamless project delivery.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate with faculty, Campus Construction, Facilities Services, ITS, vendors, and contractors to ensure project requirements align with scope, existing conditions, and all applicable rules and regulations. Act as the primary liaison to facilitate communication and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
* Assist with project planning and implementation, including developing scopes, schedules, and budgets; tracking progress; and addressing emergent issues with emphasis on cost and schedule control. Provide timely updates and maintain accurate documentation. Maintain project databases and documentation to ensure accurate tracking and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
* Oversee CNS project purchasing, including ProCard and POS transactions. Track expenditures, reconcile accounts, monitor budgets, and prepare financial reports to ensure compliance with institutional guidelines.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for furniture, fixture, and equipment (FFE) coordination on CNS projects. Manage FFE planning and procurement for renovations and new spaces, ensuring alignment with project scope and user needs. Collaborate with end-users, designers, engineers, ITS, and building management to integrate FFE solutions into overall space planning and project execution.
* Serve as technical liaison for specialized spaces such as research labs, ensuring design meets user needs and regulatory requirements. Oversee decommissioning and relocation of equipment and assist with data analytics for Research & Facilities planning.
* Other related responsibilities and functions as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in architecture, design, STEM field, business administration, or related discipline. A minimum of five (5) years of experience providing projectmanagement of design and construction activities for renovations and new construction, including institutional or commercial facilities. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with strong attentiveness to detail. Ability to manage multiple simultaneous activities in a dynamic, complex environment and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when priorities may shift unexpectedly.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on a university campus in a facilities-related role. Experience with planning, design, construction, commissioning, and/or operation of higher education and/or scientific facilities as the owner's representative. ProjectManagement Professional (PMP) certification, or other similar demonstration of formal projectmanagement training. Proficiency in Microsoft 365, and Computer Aided Design software (AutoCAD, Bluebeam).
Driving Required
This job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license. The applicant must provide a three-year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident.
Salary Range
$65,000 + DOE
