We're currently looking for a skilled and qualified electrician to join us working in Bexley. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems across new build properties.
Travel is between jobs, within working hours and would never be more than a 15-minuet drive. Company van and fuel card are provided.

Electrical Duties:
* Responsible for reactive repairs to lighting circuits, sockets, fuseboards and other electrical systems
* Inspect and test electrical installations to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
* Replace or repair faulty components such as switches, outlets, light fittings and circuit breakers
* Work independently or as part of a team to meet daily repair targets
* Communicate clearly with tenants or residents about the nature of the repair and expected outcomes
* Ensure work areas are left clean and safe after completing repairs
* Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures
* Provide high levels of customer care at all times
* Respond to emergency call outs when required, including out of hours shifts if applicable
* To undertake installation, service, repair, and maintenance of a broad range of domestic properties
* Use relevant IT systems to Manage and prioritise workload to complete repairs in a timely manner
Role Criteria:
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations - to include AM2
* City & Guilds 18th Edition (If you have 17th edition you can work through your 18th edition)
* Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
* Previous domestic, social housing experience
* Inspection and Testing 2391 or equivalent (2394/2395) preferable

Job Description

Head Electrician - The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park

The Head Electrician reports to the Director of Production and oversees the Electrics Department of The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park within the context of the Collective Bargaining Agreements between San Diego Symphony Orchestra Association and IATSE Local 122. The Head Electrician plans for and works on all productions; supervising the implementation, operation, and maintenance of lighting equipment and leading crew members during load-ins, technical rehearsals, show runs, and loadouts. The Head Electrician also serves as either the Lighting Board Operator, Deck Electrician or Lighting Designer on all performances as assigned and assists other departments as needed.
This is a union stage crew role. Any successful candidate will be required to join IATSE Local 122 and fulfil membership requirements. This is an hourly position (currently $43.46). The wages, conditions, and terms of which are governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement with IATSE Local 122. It is expected that the successful candidate will make the San Diego Symphony his/her primary employment responsibility to provide expertise, stability and continuity for our clients and organization.
All Department Heads will perform necessary duties for the proper completion of performances. A Department Head may perform tasks in other areas without regard to departmental distinction; however, it is understood that these tasks shall not interfere with the safe and professional execution of their primary responsibilities to the Employer as Head of Department.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises IATSE Local 122 employees in the Electrical department and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Prepare and package equipment for RMA, including filing paperwork with vendors.
Assist SDSO Production staff in the advance of an event, as requested.
Lead and manage crews during load ins, rehearsals, performances, load outs, and maintenance calls.
Coordinate and communicate with San Diego Symphony Head Electrician at Jacobs Music Center as needed.
Supervise the installation, operation, and maintenance of theatrical lighting equipment.
Understanding and ability to repair moving lights and conventional LED fixtures.
Maintain working knowledge of all installed equipment and fixtures.
Read and implement light plots and understand theatrical design and technical drawings.
Act as Lighting Board Operator, Deck Electrician and/or Lighting Designer during all events.
Assist with stage changes as required.
Program and operate GrandMA and various other lighting consoles and house lighting control systems.
Support guest and touring Lighting Designers as needed.
Maintain professional currency with industry trends and standards in lighting, event communications and related live production lighting equipment.

Skills & Experience:
Experience in lighting design for theatre, corporate, rock n' roll, and spot calling.
Experience in lighting for cameras, including IMAG and video records.
Experience in programming, operating and “punting” shows on GrandMA 2 and 3.
Experience with entertainment drafting in Vectorworks or CAD desirable; a willingness to learn new systems as needed, including Vectorworks, Lightwrite , CAD and other industry standard programs.
Proficiency in all GrandMA hardware, software, and networking.
Proficiency in entertainment control networking, such as sACN, Artnet, MAnet, etc.
Ability to network guest consoles into the house lighting network.

Job Description
A Team Home Services is looking for a Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The Apprentice Electrician will be based in and around Austin, Texas and is responsible for providing on-site client installation, repairs, and maintenance.
The ideal candidate is prompt and reliable, has superior support skills and excellent communication. He/she will have a proven track record of client satisfaction and is motivated to provide superior service.
Responsibilities:
Support the client - Oversee all network services and perform tests on equipment and circuits. Troubleshoot issues and resolve any requests or concerns that come up in a timely manner. Perform tests to ensure systems are error-free. Maintain relationships with customers and follow company guidelines.
Equipment and service - Troubleshoot each problem and guide customers on how to properly use equipment. Create reports of customer service calls. Make suggestions for equipment upgrades while maintaining the current inventory, including vans and trucks.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (required)
Clean driving record and valid drivers license (required)
Pass a background and drug screening (required)
OSHA 10 - Construction Certification (preferred)
1-2 years experience as a licensed Apprentice Electrician
Ability to build strong relationships with the customer and display excellent communication skills
Ability to manage your workflow in a timely and consistent manner
Ability to lift to 55 pounds
Problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
Computer skills including Microsoft office
Working knowledgeable about all safety requirements
Provide 3 references
Pay rate: $16/hr-$20/hr
Benefits eligible after 90 day probationary period:
