Light Equipment Operator - Capable of certifying on forklifts, ariel lifts and lulls. Medium Equipment Operator - Capable of certifying on all equipment up to 60 ton cranes and on dirt equipment, such as dozers, track hoes, backhoes, dump trucks, yard dogs, bobcats and excavators. Heavy Equipment Operator - Capable of certifying on all equipment but specializes in 60 ton and above for cranes. SUMMARY Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul trucks, buses, construction equipment, and all types of diesel engines. RESPONSIBILITIES * Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, lathes, hammers, welding equipment, and jacks and hoists. * Practices safe hoisting and jacking techniques. Practices safe use and disposal of solvents. * Using micrometers and gauges inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to examine parts for damage or excessive wear.
