Must be capable of changing over and starting up every piece of equipment in the facility. Work safely and follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) rules; monitor the condition of the equipment and report any damage to maintenance; prepare reports and paperwork as required; complete changeover of each line in a timely manner to minimize downtime; troubleshoot problems upon startup of a line and correct any issues as they occur. Assist Production Manager in any tasks that may be required at the time. * Must be able and willing to train operators in basic safety and operating procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be able to communicate effectively in English * An in-depth, detailed knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical processes (thermoforming or previous changeover experience preferred). * Analytically oriented to troubleshoot and establish root cause of problems. * Qualified fork truck operator * High school diploma or equivalent trade school diploma * Candidate who is mechanically inclined and a plus is someone with 3 years' experience in machine maintenance in the plastics industry.
