Ability to diagnose and repair cooling system leaks, flush the coolant, and replace components when necessary to maintain proper engine temperature. Proficiency in visual inspections, listening to engine sounds, and conducting basic tests to identify problems with the engine, transmission, brakes, and other key systems. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing common engine issues such as replacing worn-out or damaged components, such as spark plugs, belts, hoses, and gaskets. Ability to conduct basic engine tune-ups and address minor engine repairs to ensure proper engine performance and longevity. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required, vocational training or technical training program in automotive service technology or a related field preferred. ASE Certification preferred, or a willingness to attain it with our full support and assistance 5+ years of hands-on practical experience. Provide hands-on repair and maintenance of our fleet, striving for the safe operations of all trucks and service vehicles 24/7. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reads job order and observes and listens to truck in operation to determine malfunction and to plan work procedures. Perform preventative maintenance such as engine tune-ups, Installs new brakes, tires, ignition systems, aligns front wheels, changes or recharges batteries, and replaces transmissions and other parts as needed. Examines protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and makes adjustments. Lubricates moving parts and drives repaired truck to verify conformance to specifications. Fabricates special lifting or towing attachments, hydraulic systems, shields, or other devices according to blueprints or schematic drawings. Troubleshoot and repair defective parts in mechanical, electrical and electronic systems. Use computers to diagnose equipment and research information. Operate shop machinery and equipment including hoists, overhead cranes, forklifts, hydraulic jacks, compressors, steam cleaners, floor jacks, disassembly stands, grinders, drill presses, hydraulic presses, valve and seat grinders, and bead blasters. Select and use precision tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, dial indicators, tap and dies, and bore gauges. All other job duties as assigned. Your responsibilities include inspecting aircraft windows, assessing defects for airworthiness, repairing scratches, pits, and other window damage, as well as removing and installing replacement windshields and windows.Key Responsibilities: Removing existing windows. Preparing and installing new windows. On-call 24/7 to respond to customer requests for emergency AOG (Aircraft on Ground) services. Utilizing an orbital sander with various grits of sandpaper to restore damaged areas. Reviewing, interpreting, and applying technical data relevant to your tasks. Managing the acquisition of purchase orders from customers as per the provided quotes. Coordinating service schedules with aircraft owners/operators and maintenance managers. Completing and submitting billing information and evaluation forms to our headquarters in Wichita, KS. Providing the necessary airworthiness documents to customers upon job completion. Traveling as required to customer locations via ground transportation, air travel, or airlines. Compiling weekly expense reports detailing costs for gasoline, entertainment, and customer relations. Signing off on all work orders and maintaining part traceability records. Conducting daily visits and/or phone communication with both current and potential customers. Developing and expanding sales in the assigned Regional Market. Seeking guidance and direction as needed for your duties. Keeping your supervisor/manager informed of the status of your work. Reporting problems and potential issues to your supervisor/manager as soon as possible. Maintaining a neat and orderly work area. Presenting a well-groomed appearance suitable for the role and context. Respecting the confidentiality of company, customer, and personnel information. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED). Experience: Preferred sales experience, 1 year of orbital sanding experience preferred, auto body experience preferred, previous aircraft experience preferred, A&P license or AMT certificate preferred, sales experience preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using various measuring devices, strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read and interpret blueprints (preferred), ability to read and interpret technical manuals. Problem Solving/Decision Making: Ability to read and comprehend mechanical and technical manuals, applying them to practical field situations. Capability to work independently and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers, delivering exceptional customer service in a timely manner. Essential Job Functions/Physical Demands: The physical demands encompass standing on wings, moving in and out of cockpits, and working inside and outside aircraft. Travel is a requirement, with working hours ranging from 2 to 12 per day depending on demand. Ability to stand and/or sit for 8 hours a day. Ability to lift/carry weights of up to 70 lbs.
