Repairs, patches and refinishes paint or vinyl covered surfaces on the interior and/or exterior of the building as directed. Reports all safety incidents, accidents, hazardous conditions, safety risks; and takes appropriate action to correct any safety or environmental hazards. Utilizes Maintenance Department supplies and equipment effectively and efficiently. Ensures proper security for equipment and supplies. Complies with hospital/ departmental policies, procedures, regulations and standards as related to job. They require no supervision and can perform any mobility installation or repair. In addition to the above trainings and certifications, MMTs are required to attain EMC certification or equivalent, ASE A6 Electrical/Electronic systems, ASE S1 School Bus body systems and special equipment, and ASE E3 Auxiliary power systems. A valid CDL A driver's license, medical card, clean driving abstract. Ability to meet Federal DOT requirements, including Drug & Alcohol Query and Safety Performance History. Must have (or be able to obtain) a Hoisting Engineer's license (1C & 2A preferred). Must have (or be able to obtain) OSHA 10 certification. OSHA 30 certification is preferred. Must have (or be able to obtain) Hotworks certification.
