Must be capable of changing over and starting up every piece of equipment in the facility. Work safely and follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) rules; monitor the condition of the equipment and report any damage to maintenance; prepare reports and paperwork as required; complete changeover of each line in a timely manner to minimize downtime; troubleshoot problems upon startup of a line and correct any issues as they occur. Arrive on time daily; perform job safely, productively, and produce quality product; responsible for the entire tool set up of the line including meeting housekeeping and "Good Manufacturing Procedures"; perform job effectively and efficiently; meet production volume expectations posted daily; exhibit team work; ensure statistics are recorded completely and accurately daily; learn the job requirements based on company expectations; follow company policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be able to communicate effectively in English * An in-depth, detailed knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical processes (thermoforming or previous changeover experience preferred). * Analytically oriented to troubleshoot and establish root cause of problems. * Qualified fork truck operator * High school diploma or equivalent trade school diploma * Candidate who is mechanically inclined and a plus is someone with 3 years' experience in machine maintenance in the plastics industry.
