Responsibilities The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic plays a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy industrial equipment to ensure maximum equipment uptime and process reliability. Maintenance mechanics repair, program, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain and adjust equipment and machines to provide optimal performance Duties/Activities Required by Job Perform “preventive maintenance” (PM) checks during the week. This includes temperature checks and visual inspections of all equipment in your area of responsibility that has been identified. Ensures optimum operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and processing machinery.
