Ensure our fleet meets aircraft standards as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
Maintain the airworthiness of aircraft and all their components while in service or while undergoing scheduled overhaul maintenance
Completed tasks according to FAA regulations, company policies and procedures, and instructions from Crew Chiefs, Supervisors and Managers
Certify the quality of personal workmanship, including signing mechanical flight releases for field work
Complete necessary paperwork and computer entries for any maintenance performed
A wide variety of duties are performed such as dismantling, overhauling, repairing, fabricating, assembling, welding and erecting all parts of an aircraft; which includes airframe, engines, radio equipment, instruments, electrical systems, heating systems, cooling systems, and hydraulic systems
Test and inspect parts, subassemblies or completed assemblies
Assure the shop/work area is maintained in a safe and orderly manner.
If qualified, may be responsible for taxiing and towing aircraft for maintenance purposes

Must be knowledgeable of technical directives, NAMP programs, and shall be knowledgeable of and understand basic supply procedures.
Aircraft Mechanic I shall have experience writing with clarity and technical accuracy, and exhibit leadership and ensure adherence to all applicable policies and procedures.
Possess a high degree of expertise in the control and coordination of aircraft maintenance.
Thorough working knowledge of applicable maintenance/technical manuals and publications.

Job Posting: Production Mechanic Level 3
Schedule: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
About the Role:
The Production Mechanic (Level 3) is responsible for maintenance of all production equipment, including but not limited to: performing changeovers, overhauls, corrective repair work, and fabricating parts. The ideal candidate should have at least 3-4 years of experience in a production maintenance mechanic role within a manufacturing environment.
Key Job Responsibilities
Reviews established production schedule at start of each shift for assigned area to determine production run, need for change-over and scheduled maintenance.
Readjusts line and changes over assigned equipment for product, material, size and pack pattern. Runs first piece of production and checks for conformance to quality standards.
Performs preventive maintenance checks during course of shift and takes appropriate corrective action.
Cleans and sanitizes equipment and all necessary parts, as required or specified.
Monitors equipment for unsafe conditions and either recommends or implements corrective actions for equipment malfunctions.
Records production delays and maintains required down time records.
Assists in training Production Mechanics (Level 1 and Level 2), as required.
Provides input on the development of specifications for new machinery.
Fabricates non-commercially available repair parts.
Basic Qualifications
A high school graduate or equivalent is preferred; plus, demonstrated proficiency or trade related schooling in such fields as welding, machine shop, industrial electricity, introductory drafting, PLC, pipe fitting or diversified applied trade experience [preferably within a fast moving consumer goods manufacturing environment (e.g. food, pharmaceutical, soft drink, etc.)].Ability to use hand tools and power tools (e.g., hammer, screwdriver, wrench, drills, grinders etc.).
Must be able to read and interpret machinery and electrical blueprints/schematics and apply set-up and follow maintenance manual instructions.
Must have the ability to recognize unsafe machine conditions and correct them.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines on a multitude of concurrent tasks
Must possess the ability to develop and maintain an effective working relationship with internal and external customers, function as a team player, accept constructive criticism from management and comply with Company policies.
Additional Qualifications
Good interpersonal skills are required to interact with internal customers.
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
Must have rudimentary computer skills in a Windows environment necessary to the maintenance of records on a PC based system. (Microsoft Word and Excel is beneficial.)
Willingness to accept other duties and responsibilities as required by the Production Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineering Team.

Compensation
The base pay for this position ranges from $26.00 - $32.50/hr. Pay is based on a number of factors including job related knowledge, skills and experience.

Aircraft Mechanic III (23023): Leads a team in the performance of aircraft maintenance, inspections, and scheduled / unscheduled maintenance. Processes the technical experience to supervise subordinate mechanics and provide technical guidance on maintenance operations on the airframe being supported. Capable of performing, supervising and inspecting the duties of Mechanic Is, IIs and IIIs. A person in this position maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components and engines of complex to extreme difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components, and applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation. This worker also applies professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals. Work typically requires a thoroughly comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components, a thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair and the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems. A detailed knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers, etc. is required. Must possess the experience and ability to provide technical support to structural/mechanical engineers and customers alike, must possess excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet aircraft delivery schedule. This worker will be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records, and is responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to lower level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts.
Mechanic III / Maintenance Control Supervisor Functions: The Contractor Aircraft Mechanic III shall be able to release aircraft safe for flight using local Safe For Flight checklist, assign project/priority codes and direct cannibalization actions to meet the unit's maintenance plan and daily flight schedule. The government maintains the authority to release aircraft safe for flight when determined necessary. Final review and acceptance of aircraft prior to flight will reside with the pilot in command by signing an Aircraft Inspection and Acceptance Record “A” sheet. The Contractors training and qualification program shall include procedures used to train and designate contractor employees to certify aircraft safe for flight. Primary focus of the Aircraft Mechanic III is to manage the CFT priorities.
Skill and Knowledge: Shall have the ability to troubleshoot malfunctions in various aircraft systems and be able to perform general Organizational Level maintenance and possess one or more of the specialties of the assigned aircraft below:
Airframe/Structural, Landing Gear, Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Mechanical Flight Control Systems, Power Plants and related Sub-Systems, Fuel and Air Systems, Hydraulic/Pneumatic Systems, Flight Control Systems, Avionics/Electrical Systems and related Sub-Systems, and Aircraft Logs and Records Administration

Minimum Qualifications
